The cypress essential oil is extracted from the needles and shoots of the Cupressus sempervirens tree through the process of steam distillation. Its yield ranges between 1.3 - 1.5%. The essential oil has a yellow color and its aroma is intense, fresh, and woody. It is found as an ingredient in various consumer products due to its fragrance.

Uses and Benefits:

Do not use essential oils undiluted on the body. Use a carrier oil such as almond oil, jojoba oil, etc., and mix at a ratio of 10ml (carrier oil) to up to 5 drops of essential oil.
