Nepeta Essential Oil (Catnip)

INCI Name: Nepeta cataria oil

Nepeta essential oil is obtained through the steam distillation method of the leaves and flowers of the Nepeta cataria plant. It has an orange or light yellow color and a pleasant, floral scent.

Safe use:

• Do not use essential oils directly on the skin. Use a carrier oil such as almond oil, jojoba oil, etc., and mix in a ratio of 10ml (carrier oil) to 5 drops of essential oil.
• All essential oils are quite irritating to the skin and should be avoided by pregnant women and children under 5 years old.
• People with heart conditions and hypertension should use with caution and seek medical advice.
• Avoid sun exposure for 12 hours after using any essential oil derived from citrus fruits.

Store in a dry and cool place. Keep out of reach of children.
