Protect and seal your acrylic work with a transparent, matte layer that breathes, is permanent, and protects against UV damage.

What it does

  • Adds a matte finish, protects, and prevents dirt buildup
  • Dries to a flexible, non-sticky, hard surface
  • Enhances brightness and color saturation
  • Improves surface durability - ideal for shipping or display
  • Protects colors from UV damage
  • Resists fading - yellowing and fogging - caused by moisture, heat, and UV radiation
  • Suitable for use on flexible or rigid supports
  • Designed for indoor and outdoor use

How to Use It

  • Before varnishing, make sure the paint surface is dry (72 hours to two weeks depending on thickness)
  • Ensure your space is well ventilated and free of impurities and dust
  • Place the artwork on a flat surface - always varnish horizontally
  • Use a large, soft brush
  • Stir gently before use
  • Use long, even strokes, covering the surface from top to bottom while moving from one side to the other - do not overlap areas you have missed, but let dry and then reapply
  • During application, look for surface bubbles by checking from all angles and remove them immediately
  • Apply up to three thin layers, allowing at least three hours of drying time between layers

How Not to Use It

  • Do not shake or squeeze the excessive brush vigorously, as this may lead to a foggy, blurry appearance when dry
  • Do not apply with a roller or sponge
  • Do not apply in a thick layer, but in several thin coats to avoid brush marks, drips, and blurriness
  • Do not go back over areas you have already covered, as this may cause cloudiness
  • Do not attempt to remove once applied
  • Do not use with non-acrylic media
