    Excellent jars for storing small amounts of spices, which stay fresh for quite a while. I have bought them before and they are very durable; maybe one broke because it bumped hard against another due to my poor storage. They arrived very carefully packaged. Note that the shiny lids shown in the 1st and 2nd images are plastic and painted silver, but there are also more matte ones (3rd image), which are metallic type inox (I received both types, half and half). The description states that they have a "metal lid," but this does not apply to all the products I received. The plastic lids retain odors, while the metal ones do not.
