The Rotband plaster is a hand-applied plaster based on gypsum and contains specially lightweight aggregates for creating smooth surfaces in indoor areas.

Application field:

• Applied to interior walls and ceilings to create smooth, flat, or freely shaped surfaces.
• Applicable on all types of masonry, concrete, as well as on substrates capable of bearing plaster.
• Suitable for renovations and repairs.
• Achieves a surface with quality requirements of “Q1-Q4 smooth” and “Q1-Q3 leveled”.
• As a substrate for painting or wallpaper.

• Adhesion strength: ≥ 0.1 N/mm².
• pH-value: 10-12.
• Density (dry): approximately 1000 kg/m³.
• Material consumption / efficiency: Plaster thickness mm: 10, Consumption kg/m²: 8, Yield m²/bag: 5.

Mixing:

• Hand application: Mix one bag of ready plaster with clean water (about 20 lt) using a mixer in a suitable container.
• The mortar should be applied within 20 minutes of preparation.
• When the plaster begins to “set,” the surface is scratched and aligned with the trapezoidal screed.
• The plastered surface is sprayed with water and rubbed with a hard sponge.
• Quality Q4 is achieved in combination with Knauf SuperFinish or Knauf Finitura.
