It separates the hips, helping reduce the risk of pressure sores in the inner thigh area, while the adjustable Velcro side straps secure it in place and limit excessive abduction of the lower limbs.
The interior is made of polyurethane foam. The waterproof cover is removable with a zipper and washable at temperatures up to 30 °C.
