The working side "curette" allows for the removal of dry calluses and partial work with an ingrown nail. The curette is essential for removing the thin membrane of the cuticle on the nails, as well as for cleaning the area between the lateral folds of the nail and the nail plate.

The curvature of the curette follows the shape of the nail plate, and the curved "tip" of the tool facilitates the removal of dead epithelial cells beneath the nails, between the nail plate and the cuticle. The ergonomic handle improves the grip of the tool in the palm of the hand.
