The Monosorb surgical suture is a sterile synthetic monofilament absorbable surgical suture made of polydioxanone (PDO). It is available in a variety of diameter-length combinations, adapted to needles of various sizes and types, made of high-quality medical-grade stainless steel. It fully complies with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for sterile synthetic absorbable sutures and with the requirements of directive 93/42/EEC.
