Of course, I use it with the brand new g9 mark ii, and even at a shutter speed of 50 for full lighting, the photos come out as if you have a tripod. Excellent sharpness! Lightweight but with a slightly "cheap" construction as it is made of plastic. An excellent all-round travel lens for landscapes, portraits, nature. I think it's a must-have for someone.

Highly recommended. It was the first m43 lens I used when I bought an OM-D em-10 ii last summer. Very sharp, especially in the center. Better than the 14-42EZ lens I use. Great value for the price.

Πλαστικός βέβαια είναι οπότε θέλει προσοχή μην το χτυπήσετε, μην πέσει κλπ αν και αυτή η προσοχή πρέπει να δίνεται λίγο ή πολύ σε κάθε φακό.

Purchase from abroad, "open box" condition, meaning the box was opened. After registration on myolympus, it has a warranty until 5/2023.
I use it with the Panasonic Lumix GX9. It was preferred over the equivalent Panasonic purely due to price and after extensive reading of every review.
The lens is a "miniature" compared to a 28-300mm FF. Incredibly lightweight, it feels like there's no lens on the body. This is a big advantage as you don't even think about permanently having it on the camera for a walk or trip. It easily fits in a vest or jacket pocket, the lens hood fits well but DOES NOT lock, so be careful. Its small weight is due to its fully plastic construction. Everything is plastic, even the mount. The zoom and MF rings are satisfactorily "tight," they don't disappoint. The MF by wire is also good and activates magnification in the EVF, so in combination with peaking, you can focus with absolute precision. The AF is almost instantaneous! Even with AF.C. and tracking, I had no issues photographing birds in flight, with impressive results, considering that the camera and lens don't speak the exact same AF language due to different AF system technologies in the two companies and certainly aren't made for such a purpose.
The lens is excellent for pseudomacro, it has a nice bokeh and you can relatively easily take impressive photos of objects, flowers, and even insects since it gives you a minimum distance of 90cm from them, so they don't get disturbed.
Sharpness, well, here the results are incredibly good, I didn't expect it. At 150mm, you can easily see details as long as you have enough light and a corresponding shutter speed. You don't need to go beyond f/5.6 and you'll see slight improvements up to f/8.0. I didn't see diffraction anywhere. No CA or purple fringing, impressive for the cost of the lens.
The lens is absolutely silent and very fast for video, it works well with the GX9 in every aspect.
It is highly recommended for anyone who wants an affordable tele-zoom, super lightweight, small/convenient, that takes excellent photos. There are no disadvantages or I couldn't find any.

The lens had a problem with AF. It was sent to the official service of OM Digital Solutions in Greece, Zegetron S.A., and was quickly forwarded to Portugal where it was repaired and returned in less than 30 days, looking brand new and spotless both externally and internally (it had minimal dust under the front element when it left).
Therefore, there is support from OM as well.

Αγορά από εξωτερικό, κατάσταση "open box", δλδ του κουτιού. Μετά από registration στο myolympus έχει εγγύηση μέχρι 5/2023.
Τον χρησιμοποιώ με Panasonic Lumix GX9. Προτιμήθηκε από τον αντίστοιχο Panasonic καθαρά λόγω τιμής και μετά από εξαντλητικό διάβασμα κάθε review.
O φακός είναι "μινιατούρα" σε σχέση με έναν 28-300mm FF. Απίστευτα ελαφρύς, σαν να μην υπάρχει φακός στο σώμα. Αυτό είναι μεγάλο πλεονέκτημα αφού δεν σκέφτεσαι καν να τον έχεις μόνιμα στην κάμερα για μια βόλτα ή εκδρομή. Χωράει άνετα σε τσέπη γιλέκου ή μπουφάν, το lens hood εφαρμόζει καλά αλλά ΔΕΝ κουμπώνει, οπότε προσοχή. Το μικρό βάρος το οφείλει στην πλήρως πλαστική κατασκευή. Όλα είναι πλαστικά ακόμα και η μοντούρα. Τα δαχτυλίδια zoom κ MF είναι ικανοποιητικά "σφιχτά", δεν απογοητεύουν. To MF by wire επίσης καλό και ενεργοποιεί την μεγέθυνση στο EVF, οπότε σε συνδυασμό κ με peaking εστιάζεις με απόλυτη ακρίβεια. Το AF είναι σχεδόν αστραπιαίο! Ακόμα με AF.C. k tracking δεν είχα θέμα να φωτογραφίσω σχετικά με ευκολία πουλιά εν πτήση, με εντυπωσιακά αποτελέσματα, δεδομένου ότι κάμερα και φακός δεν μιλούν την ίδια ακριβώς γλώσσα AF, λόγω διαφορετικής τεχνολογίας συστημάτων AF στις δύο εταιρείες και σίγουρα δεν είναι φτιαγμένα για τέτοιο σκοπό.
Ο φακός είναι εξαιρετικός και για pseudomacro, έχει ωραίο bokeh και μπορείτε σχετικά εύκολα να βγάλετε εντυπωσιακές φωτογραφίες, αντικειμένων, λουλουδιών αλλά και εντόμων αφού σας δίνει 90εκ ελάχιστη απόσταση από αυτά οπότε δεν ενοχλούνται.
Οξύτητα, χμμ, εδώ τα αποτελέσματα είναι απίστευτα καλά, δεν το περίμενα. Στα 150mm άνετα βλέπεις λεπτομέρειες εφόσον έχεις αρκετό φως και ανάλογη ταχύτητα. Δεν χρειάζεται να φύγεις από το f/5.6 και θα δεις μικρές βελτιώσεις και μέχρι f/8.0. Δεν είδα diffraction πουθενά. Aπουσία CA κ purple fringing, εντυπωσιακό για το κόστος του φακού.
Ο φακός είναι απολύτως αθόρυβος και ταχύτατος για βίντεο, συνεργάζεται σε όλα με την GX9.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα για όποιον θέλει έναν οικονομικό tele-zoom, πανάλαφρο, μικρό/βολικό, που βγάζει εξαιρετικές φωτογραφίες. Δεν υπάρχουν μειονεκτήματα ή δεν μπόρεσα να τα βρω.

Ο φακός παρουσίασε πρόβλημα με AF. Στάλθηκε στο επίσημο service της OM Digital Solutions στην Ελλάδα, Zegetron S.A., προωθήθηκε ταχύτατα στην Πορτογαλία όπου έγινε επισκευή και επέστρεψε σε λιγότερο από 30 ημέρες σαν καινούργιος και πεντακάθαρος εξωτερικά και εσωτερικά(είχε ελάχιστη σκόνη κάτω από το "front element" όταν έφυγε).
Επομένως υπάρχει και support από την ΟΜ.
I bought it because of its low cost and was impressed by the results.
It truly is a lightweight but high-quality diamond. What will impress the user is the clarity and sharpness it provides even in the most extreme cases.
I believe it should be included in your equipment because, in addition to the quality it offers, it is also very lightweight. Five stars are truly not enough.

Πραγματικά είναι ένα ελαφρύ αλλά ποιοτικό διαμάντι. Αυτό που θα εντυπωσιάσει τον χρήστη είναι η καθαρότητα και η οξύτητα που δίνει ακόμα και στις ποιό ακραίες περιπτώσεις.
Θεωρώ πως πρέπει να υπάρχει μέσα στον εξοπλισμό σας γιατί πέραν της ποιότητας που προσφέρει, είναι και πολύ ελαφρύς. Τα πέντε αστέρια είναι πραγματικά λίγα.
A very good lens for its price.
It has a fairly fast AF despite not being a particularly bright lens, and one would expect it to struggle in low light conditions. Quite sharp throughout its range.
Mine has a slight play in its mount, which I notice when the focal distance ring approaches 150mm. It doesn't impact the photos, at least I don't perceive anything, but it feels somewhat unpleasant. That's why I deduct one point from it.

Ο δικός μου έχει έναν ελαφρύ τζόγο στο κούμπωμά του το οποίο καταλαβαίνω όταν το δαχτυλίδι της εστιακής απόστασης πλησιάζει στα 150mm. Δεν έχει αντίκτυπο στις φωτογραφίες, τουλάχιστον δεν αντιλαμβάνομαι κάτι εγώ, αλλά είναι κάπως άσχημη η αίσθηση. Είναι ο λόγος που του αφαιρώ έναν βαθμό.

Purchase from abroad, "open box" condition, meaning the box was opened. After registration on myolympus, it has a warranty until 5/2023.
I use it with the Panasonic Lumix GX9. It was preferred over the equivalent Panasonic purely due to price and after extensive reading of every review.
The lens is a "miniature" compared to a 28-300mm FF. Incredibly lightweight, it feels like there's no lens on the body. This is a big advantage as you don't even think about permanently having it on the camera for a walk or trip. It easily fits in a vest or jacket pocket, the lens hood fits well but DOES NOT lock, so be careful. Its small weight is due to its fully plastic construction. Everything is plastic, even the mount. The zoom and MF rings are satisfactorily "tight," they don't disappoint. The MF by wire is also good and activates magnification in the EVF, so in combination with peaking, you can focus with absolute precision. The AF is almost instantaneous! Even with AF.C. and tracking, I had no issues photographing birds in flight, with impressive results, considering that the camera and lens don't speak the exact same AF language due to different AF system technologies in the two companies and certainly aren't made for such a purpose.
The lens is excellent for pseudomacro, it has a nice bokeh and you can relatively easily take impressive photos of objects, flowers, and even insects since it gives you a minimum distance of 90cm from them, so they don't get disturbed.
Sharpness, well, here the results are incredibly good, I didn't expect it. At 150mm, you can easily see details as long as you have enough light and a corresponding shutter speed. You don't need to go beyond f/5.6 and you'll see slight improvements up to f/8.0. I didn't see diffraction anywhere. No CA or purple fringing, impressive for the cost of the lens.
The lens is absolutely silent and very fast for video, it works well with the GX9 in every aspect.
It is highly recommended for anyone who wants an affordable tele-zoom, super lightweight, small/convenient, that takes excellent photos. There are no disadvantages or I couldn't find any.

The lens had a problem with AF. It was sent to the official service of OM Digital Solutions in Greece, Zegetron S.A., and was quickly forwarded to Portugal where it was repaired and returned in less than 30 days, looking brand new and spotless both externally and internally (it had minimal dust under the front element when it left).
Therefore, there is support from OM as well.

O φακός είναι "μινιατούρα" σε σχέση με έναν 28-300mm FF. Απίστευτα ελαφρύς, σαν να μην υπάρχει φακός στο σώμα. Αυτό είναι μεγάλο πλεονέκτημα αφού δεν σκέφτεσαι καν να τον έχεις μόνιμα στην κάμερα για μια βόλτα ή εκδρομή. Χωράει άνετα σε τσέπη γιλέκου ή μπουφάν, το lens hood εφαρμόζει καλά αλλά ΔΕΝ κουμπώνει, οπότε προσοχή. Το μικρό βάρος το οφείλει στην πλήρως πλαστική κατασκευή. Όλα είναι πλαστικά ακόμα και η μοντούρα. Τα δαχτυλίδια zoom κ MF είναι ικανοποιητικά "σφιχτά", δεν απογοητεύουν. To MF by wire επίσης καλό και ενεργοποιεί την μεγέθυνση στο EVF, οπότε σε συνδυασμό κ με peaking εστιάζεις με απόλυτη ακρίβεια. Το AF είναι σχεδόν αστραπιαίο! Ακόμα με AF.C. k tracking δεν είχα θέμα να φωτογραφίσω σχετικά με ευκολία πουλιά εν πτήση, με εντυπωσιακά αποτελέσματα, δεδομένου ότι κάμερα και φακός δεν μιλούν την ίδια ακριβώς γλώσσα AF, λόγω διαφορετικής τεχνολογίας συστημάτων AF στις δύο εταιρείες και σίγουρα δεν είναι φτιαγμένα για τέτοιο σκοπό.
Ο φακός είναι εξαιρετικός και για pseudomacro, έχει ωραίο bokeh και μπορείτε σχετικά εύκολα να βγάλετε εντυπωσιακές φωτογραφίες, αντικειμένων, λουλουδιών αλλά και εντόμων αφού σας δίνει 90εκ ελάχιστη απόσταση από αυτά οπότε δεν ενοχλούνται.
Οξύτητα, χμμ, εδώ τα αποτελέσματα είναι απίστευτα καλά, δεν το περίμενα. Στα 150mm άνετα βλέπεις λεπτομέρειες εφόσον έχεις αρκετό φως και ανάλογη ταχύτητα. Δεν χρειάζεται να φύγεις από το f/5.6 και θα δεις μικρές βελτιώσεις και μέχρι f/8.0. Δεν είδα diffraction πουθενά. Aπουσία CA κ purple fringing, εντυπωσιακό για το κόστος του φακού.
Ο φακός είναι απολύτως αθόρυβος και ταχύτατος για βίντεο, συνεργάζεται σε όλα με την GX9.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα για όποιον θέλει έναν οικονομικό tele-zoom, πανάλαφρο, μικρό/βολικό, που βγάζει εξαιρετικές φωτογραφίες. Δεν υπάρχουν μειονεκτήματα ή δεν μπόρεσα να τα βρω.

Ο φακός παρουσίασε πρόβλημα με AF. Στάλθηκε στο επίσημο service της OM Digital Solutions στην Ελλάδα, Zegetron S.A., προωθήθηκε ταχύτατα στην Πορτογαλία όπου έγινε επισκευή και επέστρεψε σε λιγότερο από 30 ημέρες σαν καινούργιος και πεντακάθαρος εξωτερικά και εσωτερικά(είχε ελάχιστη σκόνη κάτω από το "front element" όταν έφυγε).
Επομένως υπάρχει και support από την ΟΜ.
I bought it because of its low cost and was impressed by the results.
It truly is a lightweight but high-quality diamond. What will impress the user is the clarity and sharpness it provides even in the most extreme cases.
I believe it should be included in your equipment because, in addition to the quality it offers, it is also very lightweight. Five stars are truly not enough.
Τον αγόρασα λόγο χαμηλού κόστους και εντυπωσιάστηκα από τα αποτελέσματα.
Πραγματικά είναι ένα ελαφρύ αλλά ποιοτικό διαμάντι. Αυτό που θα εντυπωσιάσει τον χρήστη είναι η καθαρότητα και η οξύτητα που δίνει ακόμα και στις ποιό ακραίες περιπτώσεις.
Θεωρώ πως πρέπει να υπάρχει μέσα στον εξοπλισμό σας γιατί πέραν της ποιότητας που προσφέρει, είναι και πολύ ελαφρύς. Τα πέντε αστέρια είναι πραγματικά λίγα.
A very good lens for its price.
It has a fairly fast AF despite not being a particularly bright lens, and one would expect it to struggle in low light conditions. Quite sharp throughout its range.
Mine has a slight play in its mount, which I notice when the focal distance ring approaches 150mm. It doesn't impact the photos, at least I don't perceive anything, but it feels somewhat unpleasant. That's why I deduct one point from it.

Έχει αρκετά γρήγορο AF παρόλο που δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα φωτεινός φακός και θα περίμενε κάποιος να ζορίζεται σε συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμού. Αρκετά οξύς στο μεγαλύτερο εύρος του.
Ο δικός μου έχει έναν ελαφρύ τζόγο στο κούμπωμά του το οποίο καταλαβαίνω όταν το δαχτυλίδι της εστιακής απόστασης πλησιάζει στα 150mm. Δεν έχει αντίκτυπο στις φωτογραφίες, τουλάχιστον δεν αντιλαμβάνομαι κάτι εγώ, αλλά είναι κάπως άσχημη η αίσθηση. Είναι ο λόγος που του αφαιρώ έναν βαθμό.

A little gem as they say! I bought it from a foreign website on sale for 150 euros, but even at the price in Greece, I think it's worth it. Of course, I use it with the brand new g9 mark ii, and even at a shutter speed of 50 for full lighting, the photos come out as if you have a tripod. Excellent sharpness! Lightweight but with a slightly "cheap" construction as it is made of plastic. An excellent all-round travel lens for landscapes, portraits, nature. I think it's a must-have for someone.
A little gem οπως λενε! Τον αγορασα απο σελιδα του εξωτερικου σε προσφορα στα 150 ευρω αλλα και σε τιμη ελλαδας να τον βρειτε νομιζω οτι αξιζει τον κοπο. Βεβαια τον χρησιμοποιω με την ολοκαινουργια g9 mark ii που ακομα και με ταχυτητα κλειστρου 50 για full φωτισμο οι φωτογραφιες βγαινουν λες και εχεις τριποδο. Εξαιρετικη οξυτητα! Ελαφρυς αλλα λίγο "φτηνη" κατασκευή καθώς είναι πλαστικός. Εξαιρετικος allround travel φακός για τοπία, πορτραίτα, φύση. Νομίζω είναι must να τον εχει καποιος.

For an amateur use, something more than excellent especially considering its price. Plastic, yes, but not cheap plastic. Solid construction. It can handle decently well in good lighting conditions (not necessarily bright midday). Personally, I would highly recommend it.

Highly recommended. It was the first m43 lens I used when I bought an OM-D em-10 ii last summer. Very sharp, especially in the center. Better than the 14-42EZ lens I use. Great value for the price.
Of course, it is made of plastic, so it requires caution not to hit or drop it, although this caution should be given to any lens, to a greater or lesser extent.
Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα. Ήταν ο 1ος m43 που χρησιμοποίησα όταν το προηγούμενο καλοκαίρι αγόρασα μια OM-D em-10 ii. Πολύ οξύς ειδικά στο κέντρο. Καλύτερος του 14-42ΕΖ που χρησιμοποιώ. Μεγάλη αξία για την τιμή που έχει.
Πλαστικός βέβαια είναι οπότε θέλει προσοχή μην το χτυπήσετε, μην πέσει κλπ αν και αυτή η προσοχή πρέπει να δίνεται λίγο ή πολύ σε κάθε φακό.
