It's amazing, after 1.5 years the battery has started to last about a day, but the poor thing opens and closes all day. On the plus side, it has fallen down 15,000 times and hasn't suffered any damage.

I have gotten the Z5 flip, it is an amazing device, very convenient and durable, same at the job I work, I have no problem....it fits comfortably in my pocket and is very convenient for me. It will be hard to go back to flat, it is a masterpiece from Samsung!! everything is perfect.....and the delivery was fast..

Simply top-notch in every way. I'm not a Samsung fan and I don't prefer them due to low value for money. However, this one is excellent in all aspects, and for the price it's currently at, it's the best there is in foldable and non-foldable. Exceptional performance, top-notch screen scrolling, brightness, and a battery that rarely needs charging with demanding use by the end of the day. Those who write the opposite simply have their location open unknowingly (by default in the initial setup), which drains the battery on all phones in half the time. I had the Flip 4 and flips from other companies, but this one stands out from the competition. The camera belongs to the category of NON-foldable flagship phones with excellent detail day and night and equally top-notch video. The only "flaw" is the absence of optical zoom, which I don't care about. The build quality is impressive, and in the category under €700, it's real value for money. Of course, as a foldable, it requires a bit more care regarding drops, etc. So, keep that in mind!
P.S.: In comparison with a friend's Flip 6 (practically the same device with a 10% faster CPU and 2x optical zoom), the Flip 5 had 15% greater autonomy in the same setup, perhaps due to better optimization.
Απλά κορυφαίο σε όλα. Δεν είμαι Samsungάκιας και δεν τα προτιμώ λόγω χαμηλού Value for money. Το συγκεκριμένο όμως είναι εξαιρετικό σε όλα και για τα χρήματα που παίζει τώρα είναι ότι καλύτερο υπάρχει σε αναδιπλούμενο και μη. Εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις, κορυφαίο ρολλάρισμα οθόνης, φωτεινότητα και μπαταρία που σπάνια θα χρειαστεί φόρτιση με απαιτητική χρήση στο τέλος της μέρας. Όσοι γράφουν το αντίθετο απλά έχουν εν αγνοία τους ανοιχτή την τοποθεσία (by default στο αρχικό σετάρισμα) που σε όλα τα κινητά εξαντλεί τη μπαταρία στο μισό χρόνο. Είχα και το Flip 4 αλλά και flip άλλων εταιρειών αλλά το σύγκεκριμένο ξεφεύγει του ανταγωνισμού. Η κάμερα ανήκει στην κατηγορία που παίζουν οι ΜΗ αναδιπλούμενες ναυαρχίδες με εξαιρετική λεπτομέρεια μερα νύχτα και εξίσου κορυφαίο video. Μόνο "ψεγάδι" η απουσία οπτικού Ζουμ που μου είναι αδιάφορο. Ποιότητα κατασκευής εντυπωσιακή και στην κατηγορία κάτω των 700€ πραγματικό Value for money. Φυσικά σαν αναδιπλούμενο θέλει μια προσοχή λίγο παραπάνω σε πεσίματα κλπ. Οπότε το νου σας!
ΥΓ: Σε συγκριση με το Flip 6 φίλου (πρακτικά ίδια συσκευή με 10% ταχύτερη cpu και 2x οπτικό Ζούμ), το Flip 5 έβγαλε 15% μεγαλύτερη αυτονομία στο ίδιο σετάρισμα, ίσως λόγω καλύτερου optimization.
QUESTION.. Is the most beautiful phone on the market by far. It is a jewel and attracts all eyes.. Both screens are excellent, very fast in everything it does, call signals stories all complete.
The close-up photos are amazing.. Satisfactory in long distance and zoom.. it competes for FUN and surpasses by far other phones with much higher nominal value in megapixels.. with twelve cameras it puts down and crushes the fifty cameras of others... It puts down 4K video compared to 8K of other companies... and it manages the battery perfectly... but phones with a 3,700 battery would not even last six hours..
Through good Lock you can run ALL applications with the cover closed. something that saves battery which is its weak point.. there are various settings that you can make to save battery.. there are tips on yt. what I noticed and want to inform, although it is not important to me so I did not cut stars, is that with good Lock while everything runs with the cover closed as if there is some incompatibility and some do not accept it.. for example while I have locked some applications with a code, if you run them with the cover closed it does not ask for a code for those applications, it opens them normally.. I downloaded various locking applications 3-4 and with all of them it did the same.. while I have locked them, if you press on them with the cover closed, it opens them.. your device is secured of course as a device, with the locks you have set, but the applications you have locked on the main screen are not locked on the outside.. so I simply removed these applications from Good lock and I only run them on the main screen. maybe I have not found the way yet.. if something comes up I will return.
P.S. Good lock needs an additional application called multistar to have the applications on the cover.. at first I could not find it, it has instructions on yt .. anyway it really works.. I have it normally and it is very convenient.
P.S.2 you will notice that the first 20-30% of the battery drop quickly.. do not worry, from 70-60% and below they drop more slowly.
P.S.3 If you are familiar with the swipe-scroll for typing (I have been using it for years) activate it or learn it.. besides being generally convenient, it helps a lot in typing with the cover closed
ΕΡΩΤΑΣ..Ειναι το πιο όμορφο τηλέφωνο που κυκλοφορεί με διαφορά. Είναι στολίδι και τραβάει όλα τα βλέμματα.. Εξαιρετικές και οι δύο οθόνες, πολύ γρήγορο σε οτιδήποτε κάνει, σήματα κλήσεις ιστορίες όλα κομπλέ.
Οι φωτογραφίες οι κοντινές είναι καταπληκτικες.. Στις μακρινές και στα ζουμ ικανοποιητικες..κοντράρει για ΠΛΑΚΑ κ υπερτερεί διπλα σε κινητά με πολυ μεγαλύτερη ονομαστική αξια σε megapixel..με δωδεκάρες κάμερες βάζει κατω κ παταει τις πενηνταρες καμερες άλλων...Το 4Κ βιντεο βαζει κατω 8Κ αλλων εταιριων...και τη μπαταρία τη διαχειρίζεται άψογα...αλλά τηλέφωνα με 3.700 μπαταρία δεν θα έβγαζαν ούτε εξαωρο..
Μέσω του good Lock μπορείς να τρέξεις ΟΛΕΣ τις εφαρμογές με κλειστό καπάκι. κάτι που σου εξοικονομεί μπαταρία που είναι το αδύναμο σημείο του.. υπάρχουν διάφορες ρυθμίσεις που μπορείς να κάνεις να εξοικονομείς μπαταρία.. έχουν συμβουλές στο yt. αυτό που παρατήρησα και θέλω να ενημερώσω, αν και δεν είναι σημαντικό για μένα για αυτό δεν έκοψα αστέρια, είναι ότι με το good Lock ενώ τρέχουν όλα με κλειστό καπάκι σαν να υπάρχει κάποια ασυμβατότητα και ορισμένα δεν τα δέχεται.. για παράδειγμα ενώ έχω κλειδώσει κάποιες εφαρμογές με κωδικό, αν τις τρέξεις με κλειστό καπάκι δεν ζητάει κωδικό σε αυτές τις εφαρμογές,τις ανοίγει κανονικά.. κατέβασα διάφορες εφαρμογές κλειδώματος 3-4 και με όλες έκανε το ίδιο.. ενώ τις έχω κλειδώσει, αν πατήσεις επάνω τους με κλειστό καπάκι, τις ανοίγει.. είναι ασφαλισμένη εννοείται η συσκευή σου σαν συσκευή, με τα κλειδώματα που έχεις ορίσει, αλλά τις εφαρμογές που έχεις κλειδώσει στη κεντρικη οθόνη δεν τις κλειδώνει στην έξω.. οπότε εγώ απλά αφαίρεσα αυτές τις εφαρμογές από το Good lock και τις τρέχω μόνο στη κεντρική οθόνη. ίσως να μην έχω βρει ακόμα στον τρόπο.. αν προκύψει κάτι θα επανέλθω.
ΥΓ το Good lock χρειάζεται μια επιπλέον εφαρμογή τη multistar για να έχει τις εφαρμογές στο καπάκι.. εμένα στην αρχή δεν το έβρισκε, έχει οδηγίες στο yt .. πάντως γίνεται όντως.. εγώ το έχω κανονικά και βολεύει πολύ.
ΥΓ2 θα παρατηρήσετε ότι τα πρώτα 20-30% μπαταρίας πέφτουν γρήγορα.. μην ανησυχήσετε, από το 70-60% και κάτω πέφτουν πιο δύσκολα.
ΥΓ3 Αν είστε εξοικειωμένοι με την σαρωση-κυληση για πληκτρολόγηση(τη χρησιμοποιώ χρόνια εγώ) ενεργοποιηστε τη ή μάθετε τη.. πέραν του ότι βολεύει γενικά, βοηθάει πολύ στην πληκτρολόγηση με κλειστό καπάκι

Coming from the iPhone 12 Pro Max, unfortunately, the change is quite noticeable. Tremendous camera in the morning hours. Average photos during the night. Not good video resolution at all. With regular use, the battery lasts 18 hours, which is something I'm used to from Apple.
As I mentioned before, the change is evident and it shows in the performance of the phone, especially when the power-saving mode is activated, the phone lags quite a bit and this is due to the reduced use of the processor. But I compare it to the power-saving mode of the 12 Pro Max. I would say that for someone who already had Android and wants to continue with Android, it is quite good. Not for someone who was on iOS.
Προερχόμενος από το iphone 12 pro max, δυστυχώς η αλλαγή είναι αρκετά εμφανής. Τρομερή κάμερα σε πρωινές ώρες. Μέτριες φωτογραφίες κατά την διάρκεια της νύχτας. Καθόλου καλή ανάλυση βίντεο. Με αρκετή χρήση η μπαταρία κρατάει 18 ώρες, το οποίο είναι κάτι που έχω συνηθίσει από την apple.
Όπως είπα και παραπάνω είναι εμφανής η αλλαγή και αυτό φαίνεται στην απόδοση του κινητού, ειδικά όταν είναι ενεργοποιημένη η λειτουργία εξοικονόμησης, το κινητό λαγκάρει αρκετά και αυτό οφείλεται στην μειωμένη χρήση του επεξεργαστή. Αλλά το συγκρίνω με την λειτουργία εξοικονόμησης του 12 pro max. Θα έλεγα πως για κάποιον που είχε ήδη android και θέλει να συνεχίσει σε android είναι αρκετά καλό. Οχι για κάποιον που ήταν σε Ios.
Coming from a Note 10+, I have to say that I am impressed with its functionality. It is definitely a departure from the bulky phones, but as someone with small fingers, this mobile is a gem! With the new updates of One UI6, it runs smoothly and allows for many customizations. The cover screen display is amazing and you can create endless images and widgets.
The only negative points I would mention are:
- The Good Lock feature, which allows for more apps to be displayed on the external screen, is not yet available in Greece.
- When playing music on Spotify/Samsung Music app on the external screen, you can only change songs and not navigate through the apps. I hope this changes.
- For NFC payments, the mobile needs to be open and it doesn't work when closed, as I have seen in videos from abroad.
Apart from the above, it is a gem. I will hardly go back to larger phones.

UPDATE 1/15/2024
GoodLock is finally available and it truly unlocks your hands, making the external screen more functional. It plays all apps, including Spotify, Samsung Music, Audible, and even Google Wallet works with the closed screen. Samsung Pay is available as an app, but Greece is not yet (at the time of writing this review) one of the available countries.
With moderate use, the battery lasts the whole day, reaching around 50-47% in the evening. Of course, by changing the form of the mobile, you sacrifice some things, and I was aware of that at least.
Προερχόμενη από ένα note 10+ έχω να πω πως είμαι έκπληκτη από τη λειτουργικότητά του. Σαφώς είναι μια συνήθεια από τα τούβλα τηλέφωνα αλλά ως ένα άτομο με μικρά δάχτυλα αυτό το κινητό είναι ένα κόσμημα! Με τις νέες ενημερώσεις του one ui6 τρέχει σφαίρα και δέχεται πολλές μορφοποιήσεις. Η οθόνη καλύμματος είναι εκπληκτική και μπορείς να φτιάξεις άπειρες εικόνες και widgets.
Στο μόνο αρνητικό θα επισημάνω 3:
-To good lock με τη λειτουργεία που επιτρέπει να εμφανίζονται παραπάνω εφαρμογές στην εξωτερική οθόνη δεν είναι ακόμα διαθέσιμο στην Ελλάδα.
- Όταν παίζει η μουσική είτε spotify/samsung music app στην εξωτερική οθόνη έχει μόνο τη δυνατότητα να αλλάξεις τραγούδια και όχι να περιηγηθείς μέσα στις εφαρμογές. Ελπίζω να αλλάξει αυτό.
-Στις πληρωμές με nfc το κινητό πρέπει να είναι ανοιχτό, και δεν δουλεύει και κλειστό όπως έχω δει σε video του εξωτερικού.
Πέρα από τα παραπάνω είναι ένα κόσμημα. Δύσκολα θα γυρίσω στα μεγάλα κινητά.

Το GoodLock είναι τελικά διαθέσιμο και σου ξεκλειδώνει πραγματικά τα χέρια κάνοντας και την εξωτερική οθόνη περισσότερο λειτουργική. Είτε spotify, samsung music, audible, τα παίζει όλα. Ακόμα και το google wallet είναι λειτουργικό με τη κλειστή οθόνη. Το samsung pay υπάρχει ως εφαρμογή αλλά η Ελλάδα δεν είναι ακόμα (τη χρονική στιγμή που γράφεται αυτή η κριτική) στις διαθέσιμες χώρες.
Η μπαταρία με μέτρια χρήση βγάζει όλη την ημέρα φτάνοντας το βράδυ τα περί 50-47%. Σαφώς αλλάζοντας τη μορφή του κινητού θυσιάζεις κάποια πράγματα και εγώ τουλάχιστον ήμουν ενήμερη για αυτό.
I had the Flip4 and this year I got the 5...I don't change them as phones because I consider them top in everything. They are such nice and powerful phones that the fact that they will need charging at the end of the day doesn't bother me

The screen developed a black line exactly where it folds, and gradually opened up and turned black. The dealership I gave it to for replacement deemed it out of warranty because they found marks on the exterior, which according to their policy is not covered. Tragic situations! The situation calls for a lawyer! Stay away from Samsung!! I will never touch Samsung again!!

The main upgrade concerns the external screen, which is now 3.4" with a refresh rate of 60hz.
Google Maps, Google/Samsung Messages, Netflix, WhatsApp, and YouTube can all be used on the external screen. For typing messages, we have the same keyboard layout as when using the keyboard on the main screen. And we can also watch videos without needing to use the large screen.
As for the experience of using the cover screen, it is very good. The size is sufficient to facilitate interaction with apps and other elements on the screen. The cover screen also becomes extremely bright, although the automatic brightness algorithm is not the best and often had to be manually adjusted.
As for the crease on the screen, nothing has changed. Visually, it is noticeable from a certain angle, but its presence is often felt when scrolling.
Photos taken outdoors during the day using the main 12MP camera have excellent detail and dynamic range. And while it doesn't have a telephoto camera, it produces very good results when using 2x zoom on the main camera, at least when the environment is well lit. The ultra-wide camera is not as good, especially when it comes to capturing detail from darker areas of the scene, but overall the results are pleasant when taking photos during the day. Where the Z Flip 5 could use improvement is in low-light and nighttime shots. While the main camera captures enough detail, in many cases it introduces some noise, even when there is sufficient artificial lighting around. When taking selfies, we can use the rear cameras for selfie shots using the cover screen as a viewfinder. And we can ignore the 10MP front camera and use the rear cameras for all selfies, resulting in amazing results, especially in low-light conditions.
The updated Flex Mode does an excellent job and is now more user-friendly.
As for the performance of the Z Flip 5, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is amazing, and the phone performs exceptionally well. There are occasional stutters here and there, but they are very rare to be bothersome.
It also has excellent network and call quality, which is expected due to Wi-Fi 6E support. Dual SIM functionality is available only if you have an eSIM for the second number.
The battery continues to be the weak point compared to other flagship devices, but there is improvement compared to previous Flips. Maximum screen-on time can reach 6 hours, and battery drain during idle time has been greatly reduced. Another improvement is the increase in charging speed to 25W, but it is still slow compared to the competition.
Overall, the Z Flip 5 is not perfect, but it is the best device in the series and is also a good upgrade for owners of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

My mother bought it! After 6 months it developed the classic screen problem! Luckily, they fixed it for her for free as it was under warranty!

this time she decided to throw it in the trash! Samsung should be ashamed for selling phones when they know this problem keeps happening

Simply top-notch in every way. I'm not a Samsung fan and I don't prefer them due to low value for money. However, this one is excellent in all aspects, and for the price it's currently at, it's the best there is in foldable and non-foldable. Exceptional performance, top-notch screen scrolling, brightness, and a battery that rarely needs charging with demanding use by the end of the day. Those who write the opposite simply have their location open unknowingly (by default in the initial setup), which drains the battery on all phones in half the time. I had the Flip 4 and flips from other companies, but this one stands out from the competition. The camera belongs to the category of NON-foldable flagship phones with excellent detail day and night and equally top-notch video. The only "flaw" is the absence of optical zoom, which I don't care about. The build quality is impressive, and in the category under €700, it's real value for money. Of course, as a foldable, it requires a bit more care regarding drops, etc. So, keep that in mind!
P.S.: In comparison with a friend's Flip 6 (practically the same device with a 10% faster CPU and 2x optical zoom), the Flip 5 had 15% greater autonomy in the same setup, perhaps due to better optimization.
Απλά κορυφαίο σε όλα. Δεν είμαι Samsungάκιας και δεν τα προτιμώ λόγω χαμηλού Value for money. Το συγκεκριμένο όμως είναι εξαιρετικό σε όλα και για τα χρήματα που παίζει τώρα είναι ότι καλύτερο υπάρχει σε αναδιπλούμενο και μη. Εξαιρετικές επιδόσεις, κορυφαίο ρολλάρισμα οθόνης, φωτεινότητα και μπαταρία που σπάνια θα χρειαστεί φόρτιση με απαιτητική χρήση στο τέλος της μέρας. Όσοι γράφουν το αντίθετο απλά έχουν εν αγνοία τους ανοιχτή την τοποθεσία (by default στο αρχικό σετάρισμα) που σε όλα τα κινητά εξαντλεί τη μπαταρία στο μισό χρόνο. Είχα και το Flip 4 αλλά και flip άλλων εταιρειών αλλά το σύγκεκριμένο ξεφεύγει του ανταγωνισμού. Η κάμερα ανήκει στην κατηγορία που παίζουν οι ΜΗ αναδιπλούμενες ναυαρχίδες με εξαιρετική λεπτομέρεια μερα νύχτα και εξίσου κορυφαίο video. Μόνο "ψεγάδι" η απουσία οπτικού Ζουμ που μου είναι αδιάφορο. Ποιότητα κατασκευής εντυπωσιακή και στην κατηγορία κάτω των 700€ πραγματικό Value for money. Φυσικά σαν αναδιπλούμενο θέλει μια προσοχή λίγο παραπάνω σε πεσίματα κλπ. Οπότε το νου σας!
ΥΓ: Σε συγκριση με το Flip 6 φίλου (πρακτικά ίδια συσκευή με 10% ταχύτερη cpu και 2x οπτικό Ζούμ), το Flip 5 έβγαλε 15% μεγαλύτερη αυτονομία στο ίδιο σετάρισμα, ίσως λόγω καλύτερου optimization.
QUESTION.. Is the most beautiful phone on the market by far. It is a jewel and attracts all eyes.. Both screens are excellent, very fast in everything it does, call signals stories all complete.
The close-up photos are amazing.. Satisfactory in long distance and zoom.. it competes for FUN and surpasses by far other phones with much higher nominal value in megapixels.. with twelve cameras it puts down and crushes the fifty cameras of others... It puts down 4K video compared to 8K of other companies... and it manages the battery perfectly... but phones with a 3,700 battery would not even last six hours..
Through good Lock you can run ALL applications with the cover closed. something that saves battery which is its weak point.. there are various settings that you can make to save battery.. there are tips on yt. what I noticed and want to inform, although it is not important to me so I did not cut stars, is that with good Lock while everything runs with the cover closed as if there is some incompatibility and some do not accept it.. for example while I have locked some applications with a code, if you run them with the cover closed it does not ask for a code for those applications, it opens them normally.. I downloaded various locking applications 3-4 and with all of them it did the same.. while I have locked them, if you press on them with the cover closed, it opens them.. your device is secured of course as a device, with the locks you have set, but the applications you have locked on the main screen are not locked on the outside.. so I simply removed these applications from Good lock and I only run them on the main screen. maybe I have not found the way yet.. if something comes up I will return.
P.S. Good lock needs an additional application called multistar to have the applications on the cover.. at first I could not find it, it has instructions on yt .. anyway it really works.. I have it normally and it is very convenient.
P.S.2 you will notice that the first 20-30% of the battery drop quickly.. do not worry, from 70-60% and below they drop more slowly.
P.S.3 If you are familiar with the swipe-scroll for typing (I have been using it for years) activate it or learn it.. besides being generally convenient, it helps a lot in typing with the cover closed
ΕΡΩΤΑΣ..Ειναι το πιο όμορφο τηλέφωνο που κυκλοφορεί με διαφορά. Είναι στολίδι και τραβάει όλα τα βλέμματα.. Εξαιρετικές και οι δύο οθόνες, πολύ γρήγορο σε οτιδήποτε κάνει, σήματα κλήσεις ιστορίες όλα κομπλέ.
Οι φωτογραφίες οι κοντινές είναι καταπληκτικες.. Στις μακρινές και στα ζουμ ικανοποιητικες..κοντράρει για ΠΛΑΚΑ κ υπερτερεί διπλα σε κινητά με πολυ μεγαλύτερη ονομαστική αξια σε megapixel..με δωδεκάρες κάμερες βάζει κατω κ παταει τις πενηνταρες καμερες άλλων...Το 4Κ βιντεο βαζει κατω 8Κ αλλων εταιριων...και τη μπαταρία τη διαχειρίζεται άψογα...αλλά τηλέφωνα με 3.700 μπαταρία δεν θα έβγαζαν ούτε εξαωρο..
Μέσω του good Lock μπορείς να τρέξεις ΟΛΕΣ τις εφαρμογές με κλειστό καπάκι. κάτι που σου εξοικονομεί μπαταρία που είναι το αδύναμο σημείο του.. υπάρχουν διάφορες ρυθμίσεις που μπορείς να κάνεις να εξοικονομείς μπαταρία.. έχουν συμβουλές στο yt. αυτό που παρατήρησα και θέλω να ενημερώσω, αν και δεν είναι σημαντικό για μένα για αυτό δεν έκοψα αστέρια, είναι ότι με το good Lock ενώ τρέχουν όλα με κλειστό καπάκι σαν να υπάρχει κάποια ασυμβατότητα και ορισμένα δεν τα δέχεται.. για παράδειγμα ενώ έχω κλειδώσει κάποιες εφαρμογές με κωδικό, αν τις τρέξεις με κλειστό καπάκι δεν ζητάει κωδικό σε αυτές τις εφαρμογές,τις ανοίγει κανονικά.. κατέβασα διάφορες εφαρμογές κλειδώματος 3-4 και με όλες έκανε το ίδιο.. ενώ τις έχω κλειδώσει, αν πατήσεις επάνω τους με κλειστό καπάκι, τις ανοίγει.. είναι ασφαλισμένη εννοείται η συσκευή σου σαν συσκευή, με τα κλειδώματα που έχεις ορίσει, αλλά τις εφαρμογές που έχεις κλειδώσει στη κεντρικη οθόνη δεν τις κλειδώνει στην έξω.. οπότε εγώ απλά αφαίρεσα αυτές τις εφαρμογές από το Good lock και τις τρέχω μόνο στη κεντρική οθόνη. ίσως να μην έχω βρει ακόμα στον τρόπο.. αν προκύψει κάτι θα επανέλθω.
ΥΓ το Good lock χρειάζεται μια επιπλέον εφαρμογή τη multistar για να έχει τις εφαρμογές στο καπάκι.. εμένα στην αρχή δεν το έβρισκε, έχει οδηγίες στο yt .. πάντως γίνεται όντως.. εγώ το έχω κανονικά και βολεύει πολύ.
ΥΓ2 θα παρατηρήσετε ότι τα πρώτα 20-30% μπαταρίας πέφτουν γρήγορα.. μην ανησυχήσετε, από το 70-60% και κάτω πέφτουν πιο δύσκολα.
ΥΓ3 Αν είστε εξοικειωμένοι με την σαρωση-κυληση για πληκτρολόγηση(τη χρησιμοποιώ χρόνια εγώ) ενεργοποιηστε τη ή μάθετε τη.. πέραν του ότι βολεύει γενικά, βοηθάει πολύ στην πληκτρολόγηση με κλειστό καπάκι

Coming from the iPhone 12 Pro Max, unfortunately, the change is quite noticeable. Tremendous camera in the morning hours. Average photos during the night. Not good video resolution at all. With regular use, the battery lasts 18 hours, which is something I'm used to from Apple.
As I mentioned before, the change is evident and it shows in the performance of the phone, especially when the power-saving mode is activated, the phone lags quite a bit and this is due to the reduced use of the processor. But I compare it to the power-saving mode of the 12 Pro Max. I would say that for someone who already had Android and wants to continue with Android, it is quite good. Not for someone who was on iOS.
Προερχόμενος από το iphone 12 pro max, δυστυχώς η αλλαγή είναι αρκετά εμφανής. Τρομερή κάμερα σε πρωινές ώρες. Μέτριες φωτογραφίες κατά την διάρκεια της νύχτας. Καθόλου καλή ανάλυση βίντεο. Με αρκετή χρήση η μπαταρία κρατάει 18 ώρες, το οποίο είναι κάτι που έχω συνηθίσει από την apple.
Όπως είπα και παραπάνω είναι εμφανής η αλλαγή και αυτό φαίνεται στην απόδοση του κινητού, ειδικά όταν είναι ενεργοποιημένη η λειτουργία εξοικονόμησης, το κινητό λαγκάρει αρκετά και αυτό οφείλεται στην μειωμένη χρήση του επεξεργαστή. Αλλά το συγκρίνω με την λειτουργία εξοικονόμησης του 12 pro max. Θα έλεγα πως για κάποιον που είχε ήδη android και θέλει να συνεχίσει σε android είναι αρκετά καλό. Οχι για κάποιον που ήταν σε Ios.
Coming from a Note 10+, I have to say that I am impressed with its functionality. It is definitely a departure from the bulky phones, but as someone with small fingers, this mobile is a gem! With the new updates of One UI6, it runs smoothly and allows for many customizations. The cover screen display is amazing and you can create endless images and widgets.
The only negative points I would mention are:
- The Good Lock feature, which allows for more apps to be displayed on the external screen, is not yet available in Greece.
- When playing music on Spotify/Samsung Music app on the external screen, you can only change songs and not navigate through the apps. I hope this changes.
- For NFC payments, the mobile needs to be open and it doesn't work when closed, as I have seen in videos from abroad.
Apart from the above, it is a gem. I will hardly go back to larger phones.

UPDATE 1/15/2024
GoodLock is finally available and it truly unlocks your hands, making the external screen more functional. It plays all apps, including Spotify, Samsung Music, Audible, and even Google Wallet works with the closed screen. Samsung Pay is available as an app, but Greece is not yet (at the time of writing this review) one of the available countries.
With moderate use, the battery lasts the whole day, reaching around 50-47% in the evening. Of course, by changing the form of the mobile, you sacrifice some things, and I was aware of that at least.
Προερχόμενη από ένα note 10+ έχω να πω πως είμαι έκπληκτη από τη λειτουργικότητά του. Σαφώς είναι μια συνήθεια από τα τούβλα τηλέφωνα αλλά ως ένα άτομο με μικρά δάχτυλα αυτό το κινητό είναι ένα κόσμημα! Με τις νέες ενημερώσεις του one ui6 τρέχει σφαίρα και δέχεται πολλές μορφοποιήσεις. Η οθόνη καλύμματος είναι εκπληκτική και μπορείς να φτιάξεις άπειρες εικόνες και widgets.
Στο μόνο αρνητικό θα επισημάνω 3:
-To good lock με τη λειτουργεία που επιτρέπει να εμφανίζονται παραπάνω εφαρμογές στην εξωτερική οθόνη δεν είναι ακόμα διαθέσιμο στην Ελλάδα.
- Όταν παίζει η μουσική είτε spotify/samsung music app στην εξωτερική οθόνη έχει μόνο τη δυνατότητα να αλλάξεις τραγούδια και όχι να περιηγηθείς μέσα στις εφαρμογές. Ελπίζω να αλλάξει αυτό.
-Στις πληρωμές με nfc το κινητό πρέπει να είναι ανοιχτό, και δεν δουλεύει και κλειστό όπως έχω δει σε video του εξωτερικού.
Πέρα από τα παραπάνω είναι ένα κόσμημα. Δύσκολα θα γυρίσω στα μεγάλα κινητά.

Το GoodLock είναι τελικά διαθέσιμο και σου ξεκλειδώνει πραγματικά τα χέρια κάνοντας και την εξωτερική οθόνη περισσότερο λειτουργική. Είτε spotify, samsung music, audible, τα παίζει όλα. Ακόμα και το google wallet είναι λειτουργικό με τη κλειστή οθόνη. Το samsung pay υπάρχει ως εφαρμογή αλλά η Ελλάδα δεν είναι ακόμα (τη χρονική στιγμή που γράφεται αυτή η κριτική) στις διαθέσιμες χώρες.
Η μπαταρία με μέτρια χρήση βγάζει όλη την ημέρα φτάνοντας το βράδυ τα περί 50-47%. Σαφώς αλλάζοντας τη μορφή του κινητού θυσιάζεις κάποια πράγματα και εγώ τουλάχιστον ήμουν ενήμερη για αυτό.
I had the Flip4 and this year I got the 5...I don't change them as phones because I consider them top in everything. They are such nice and powerful phones that the fact that they will need charging at the end of the day doesn't bother me

The screen developed a black line exactly where it folds, and gradually opened up and turned black. The dealership I gave it to for replacement deemed it out of warranty because they found marks on the exterior, which according to their policy is not covered. Tragic situations! The situation calls for a lawyer! Stay away from Samsung!! I will never touch Samsung again!!

It was purchased to replace the Galaxy Z Flip3.
The main upgrade concerns the external screen, which is now 3.4" with a refresh rate of 60hz.
Google Maps, Google/Samsung Messages, Netflix, WhatsApp, and YouTube can all be used on the external screen. For typing messages, we have the same keyboard layout as when using the keyboard on the main screen. And we can also watch videos without needing to use the large screen.
As for the experience of using the cover screen, it is very good. The size is sufficient to facilitate interaction with apps and other elements on the screen. The cover screen also becomes extremely bright, although the automatic brightness algorithm is not the best and often had to be manually adjusted.
As for the crease on the screen, nothing has changed. Visually, it is noticeable from a certain angle, but its presence is often felt when scrolling.
Photos taken outdoors during the day using the main 12MP camera have excellent detail and dynamic range. And while it doesn't have a telephoto camera, it produces very good results when using 2x zoom on the main camera, at least when the environment is well lit. The ultra-wide camera is not as good, especially when it comes to capturing detail from darker areas of the scene, but overall the results are pleasant when taking photos during the day. Where the Z Flip 5 could use improvement is in low-light and nighttime shots. While the main camera captures enough detail, in many cases it introduces some noise, even when there is sufficient artificial lighting around. When taking selfies, we can use the rear cameras for selfie shots using the cover screen as a viewfinder. And we can ignore the 10MP front camera and use the rear cameras for all selfies, resulting in amazing results, especially in low-light conditions.
The updated Flex Mode does an excellent job and is now more user-friendly.
As for the performance of the Z Flip 5, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is amazing, and the phone performs exceptionally well. There are occasional stutters here and there, but they are very rare to be bothersome.
It also has excellent network and call quality, which is expected due to Wi-Fi 6E support. Dual SIM functionality is available only if you have an eSIM for the second number.
The battery continues to be the weak point compared to other flagship devices, but there is improvement compared to previous Flips. Maximum screen-on time can reach 6 hours, and battery drain during idle time has been greatly reduced. Another improvement is the increase in charging speed to 25W, but it is still slow compared to the competition.
Overall, the Z Flip 5 is not perfect, but it is the best device in the series and is also a good upgrade for owners of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Οι Χάρτες Google, τα Μηνύματα Google/Samsung, το Netflix, το WhatsApp και το YouTube , όλες μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν στην εξωτερική οθόνη. Για την πληκτρολόγηση μηνυμάτων, έχουμε την ίδια διάταξη πληκτρολογίου όπως όταν χρησιμοποιούμε το πληκτρολόγιο στην κύρια οθόνη. Και μπορούμε να δούμε και βίντεο, χωρίς να χρειάζεται να χρησιμοποιήσουμε την μεγάλη οθόνη.
Όσο για την εμπειρία χρήσης της οθόνης εξωφύλλου, είναι πολύ καλή. Το μέγεθος είναι αρκετό για να διευκολύνει την αλληλεπίδραση με εφαρμογές και άλλα στοιχεία στην οθόνη. Η οθόνη του καλύμματος γίνεται επίσης εξαιρετικά φωτεινή, αν και ο αλγόριθμος αυτόματης φωτεινότητας δεν είναι ο καλύτερος και συχνά έπρεπε να μειώνεται χειροκίνητα.
Όσο για το τσάκισμα της οθόνης, τίποτα δεν έχει αλλάξει. Οπτικά, φαίνεται υπό συγκεκριμένη γωνία, αλλά η παρουσία του γίνεται συχνά αισθητή όταν κάνουμε κύλιση.
Οι φωτογραφίες που τραβήχτηκαν σε εξωτερικούς χώρους κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας χρησιμοποιώντας την κύρια κάμερα 12MP έχουν εξαιρετική λεπτομέρεια και δυναμικό εύρος. Και ενώ δεν έχει κάμερα τηλεφακού, έχει πολύ καλά αποτελέσματα όταν χρησιμοποιούμε ζουμ 2x στην κύρια κάμερα, τουλάχιστον όταν το περιβάλλον είναι καλά φωτισμένο. Η εξαιρετικά ευρεία κάμερα δεν είναι τόσο καλή, ειδικά όταν πρόκειται για την εξαγωγή λεπτομέρειας από πιο σκοτεινές περιοχές της σκηνής, αλλά συνολικά τα αποτελέσματα είναι ευχάριστα κατά τη λήψη κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας. Εκεί που το Z Flip 5 θα ήθελε βελτίωση είναι οι λήψεις σε χαμηλό φωτισμό και τη νύχτα. Ενώ η κύρια κάμερα καταγράφει αρκετή λεπτομέρεια, σε πολλές περιπτώσεις αφήνει κάποιο θόρυβο, ακόμα και όταν υπάρχει αρκετός αριθμός τεχνητών φώτων τριγύρω. Κατά τη λήψη selfie, μπορούμε να χρησιμοποιήσετε τις πίσω κάμερες για selfie χρησιμοποιώντας την οθόνη του καλύμματος ως σκόπευτρο. Και να αγνοήσουμε την μπροστινή κάμερα των 10 MP και να χρησιμοποιήσουμε τις πίσω κάμερες για όλες τις selfie και να έχουμε εκπληκτικά αποτελέσματα, ειδικά σε συνθήκες χαμηλού φωτισμού.
Το ανανεωμένο Flex Mode κάνει εξαιρετική δουλειά και πλέον είναι πιο εύχρηστο.
Όσον αφορά την απόδοση του Z Flip 5, το Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 για Galaxy είναι εκπληκτικό και το τηλέφωνο αποδίδει εξαιρετικά. Υπάρχουν μερικά κολλήματα εδώ και εκεί αλλά είναι πολύ σπάνια για να είναι ενοχλητικά.
Έχει επίσης εξαιρετική ποιότητα λήψης δικτύου και κλήσεων, κάτι που είναι αναμενόμενο λόγω υποστήριξης Wi-Fi 6E. Η λειτουργία διπλής SIM είναι διαθέσιμη μόνο εάν έχετε eSIM για τον δεύτερο αριθμό.
Η μπαταρία εξακολουθεί να είναι το αδύναμο σημείο του σε σύγκριση με άλλες ναυαρχίδες αλλά υπάρχει βελτίωση σε σχέση με τα προηγούμενα Flips. Μέγιστο SOT μπορεί να φτάσει τις 6 ώρες και έχει μειωθεί πολύ το battery drain σε αδράνεια. Μία ακόμη βελτίωση είναι η αύξηση στην ταχύτητα φόρτισης στα 25W, αλλά είναι ακόμη αργή φόρτιση σε σύγκριση με τον ανταγωνισμό.
Γενικά Το Z Flip 5 δεν είναι τέλειο, αλλά είναι η καλύτερη συσκευή στη σειρά και είναι επίσης μια καλή αναβάθμιση για τους κατόχους του Galaxy Z Flip 3 και του Galaxy Z Flip 4.
