Mercola plastic adhesive is a thick solvent-based adhesive for bonding PVC pipes and fittings. It dries quickly and is intended for plumbing applications, such as pressure pipes and drainage systems.
The bond is resistant to cold and boiling water, solvents, alkalis and acids, as well as temperature changes and ageing. The built-in brush in the cap makes application easier. Surfaces must be dry and free of dust and grease. Pipes should be cut squarely, and their edges lightly smoothed before application.
