Description

The SE Custom 24 brings PRS's original design platform to the high-quality, more affordable SE series of instruments.

Suitable for internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring guitarists, the SE Custom 24 features a maple top and a wide thin maple neck, a mahogany back, a Rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays, and PRS's patented molded tremolo bridge.

Its versatile sounds come from the 85/15 "S" pickups paired with a volume control, push/pull tone control, and a 3-way blade pickup selector.

The SE Custom 24 is a modern classic model with durability and a wide range of sounds, making it an ideal guitar for professional use.

Neck construction from Maple wood

The Maple wood on the neck is an important element for the guitar's acoustics, as it produces a bright and precise tone resulting from the wood's hardness.

Body construction from durable Mahogany

The mahogany wood it features offers a rich, warm, and deep sound, with strong bass and good mid and high trebles. The sound of mahogany is darker and heavier compared to other woods used in electric guitar construction, such as alder or poplar.

This sound makes mahogany suitable for many music styles, such as rock, blues, jazz, and heavy metal.

HH Pickup Configuration (Humbucker-Humbucker)

This layout includes two humbucker pickups, which are positioned at the central pickup and bridge pickup locations of the guitar.

The Humbucker pickups offer better response to low frequencies and bass sound, as well as greater resistance to noise. This makes the guitar suitable for powerful riffs and solos.

Equipped with passive pickups, which do not require external power to operate. Specifically, the passive pickups work using magnetism and produce a signal that is inversely proportional to the movement of the strings.

Rosewood Fretboard

The Rosewood fretboard offers a warm, sweet, and solid sound. Rosewood is known for the mid and low frequencies it produces, as well as the comfort it provides when playing notes on the fretboard.

Additionally, Rosewood has the ability to enhance the sustain and response of the strings, making it one of the most popular materials for fretboard construction in electric guitars.
