The Hoya ProND Ex 1000 72mm filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 10 stops. Ideal for outdoor video shooting, it allows for shutter speed adjustment to match the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field.

For capturing moving objects, motion blur can be achieved, giving a cinematic feel to the image. For photography applications, the filter facilitates the use of longer exposures or allows for a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight, making it essential for fast lenses such as F1.4 or F1.2 with wide open apertures for softer and more beautiful bokeh.

The ProND EX 1000 filter uses Hoya's ACCU-ND technology to prevent color shifting, providing consistent image quality. The ACCU-ND ensures equal light reduction across both the visible spectrum and the infrared spectrum, avoiding color changes when shooting under varying outdoor conditions.

The filter features a 72mm thread on both the front and back. Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or you can place a threaded lens cap or another filter.
