Used on a Nikon Crop AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G lens, it has helped me a lot in outdoor shots with a lot of light, as when the ring reaches the end, it reduces the brightness significantly, without me noticing the well-known X in the photo.
Also, the photo does not lose any quality at all, even though I am using an entry-level camera!

It seems fine to me; the filter did a very good job in most cases I used it. The only thing that bothered me a bit was when I went outside in very bright light and set it to the maximum to cut as much as it could; it created the usual shadows in the image, cutting in two spots and not the rest. In a darker environment, it didn't show shadows. But for the money, I think it's fine.
Μια χαρα μου φαινεται το φιλτρο στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις που το χρησιμοποιησα εκανε πολυ καλη δουλεια, το μονο που λιγο με χαλασε ειναι οταν βγηκα εξω σε πολυ φως και το εβαλα στο τερμα για να κοψει οσο μπορει, εκανε τις κλασικές σκιες στην εικονα, εκοβε σε δυο σημεια και οχι στο υπολοιπο.. σε πιο σκοτεινό περιβάλλον δεν εμφανισε σκιες. αλλα για τα χρηματα νομιζω ειναι μια χαρα.

For simple video in the sun, and a few long exposure photos in the morning or afternoon, it's very good! My only complaint is that it doesn't stop when it reaches the max, and continues freely.

Whatever is the most value for money as a variable filter. All cheap filters at their last stop create this "X" pattern, that's why the expensive ones are sold with ND Stops 2-5, 6-9. It doesn't give bad results, as long as you work with the stops that don't create distortion. I used it a few times in scenarios with strong light and I am quite satisfied.
One negative thing about it is that it doesn't stop when you reach the last stop, which means that you either have to look where it is on the lens or empirically bring it to the desired exposure.
If you want a cheap filter to do your job, buy it blindly. If you want top quality, you will have to spend a lot more.

Ό,τι πιο value for money σαν μεταβλητό φίλτρο. 'Ολα τα φθηνά φίλτρα στα τελευταία τους stop δημιουργούν αυτό το "X" pattern, γι'αυτό και τα ακριβά πωλούνται με ND Stops 2-5, 6-9. Δεν δίνει άσχημα αποτελέσματα, αρκεί να το δουλεύεις στα stops που δεν φτιάχνει την παραμόρφωση. Το δούλεψα μερικές φορές σε σενάρια δυνατού φωτός και είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένος.
Ένα αρνητικό του επίσης είναι πως δεν έχει τερματίζει όταν φτάσεις στο τελευταίο stop, πράγμα που σημαίνει πως ή θα κοιτάτε που βρίσκεται επάνω στον φακό ή θα το φέρνετε εμπειρικά στην φωτομέτρηση που επιθυμείτε.
Αν θέλετε ένα φθηνό φίλτρο για να κάνετε την δουλειά σας, αγοράστε το με κλειστά μάτια. Αν θέλετε την top ποιότητα, θα πρέπει να δώσετε πολλά περισσότερα.

Towards the end of the route, when you go for the most secluded (darker) spot, I notice that the darkening is not uniform. It appears in solid colors on the background (blue sky). It's not tragic to say "oh no," but in order to be accurate, I have to point it out. Otherwise, it is definitely value for money and has a nice gradient.

Μια χαρα μου φαινεται το φιλτρο στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις που το χρησιμοποιησα εκανε πολυ καλη δουλεια, το μονο που λιγο με χαλασε ειναι οταν βγηκα εξω σε πολυ φως και το εβαλα στο τερμα για να κοψει οσο μπορει, εκανε τις κλασικές σκιες στην εικονα, εκοβε σε δυο σημεια και οχι στο υπολοιπο.. σε πιο σκοτεινό περιβάλλον δεν εμφανισε σκιες. αλλα για τα χρηματα νομιζω ειναι μια χαρα.
a good choice regarding the variable ND filters available on the market! The only thing that makes it difficult is that it doesn't have a little handle to turn it easily... I have several filters from the same company and I am satisfied VFM.
μια καλη επιλογη ως αναφορά τα variable ND φιλτρα που κυκλοφορουν στην αγορα! Το μονο πραγμα που δυσκολευει ειναι οτι δεν εχει πιαστρακι να μπορεις να το γυριζεις με ευκολια...εχω αρκετα φιλτρα της ιδιας εταιρειας ειμαι ικανοποιημενος VFM.
K&F now produces very good and affordable accessories and ND filters, and it is my first choice for every new lens.
Πλέον η K&F βγάζει πολύ καλά και φθηνά αξεσουάρ και ND φίλτρα και είναι η πρώτη μου προτίμηση για κάθε νέο φακό.
Very good for its money, unfortunately on its "dark" side it makes this X pattern that other comments also mention, so it's not great for holding light. For simple video in the sun, and a few long exposure photos in the morning or afternoon, it's very good! My only complaint is that it doesn't stop when it reaches the max, and continues freely.
πολύ καλό για τα χρήματά του, δυστυχώς προς την "σκοτεινή" του μεριά κάνει αυτό το X pattern για το οποίο μιλούν και άλλα σχόλια, οπότε δεν κάνει για τρελό κράτημα φωτός. Για απλό βίντεο στον ήλιο, και καμμια φωτογραφία long exposure πρωινό ή απογευματάκι, ειναι πολυ καλο!
Μικρό παράπονο που εχω είναι το οτι δεν εχει stop όταν φτασει στο max, και συνεχίζει ελεύθερα.
