The B Braun Mini Spike is a transfusion device designed with a luer-lock cap, which reduces contact contamination and allows for convenient operation away from the Luer connection.

The covered sealing cap enhances hygiene by preventing loss of the cover and potential leaks. Benefits of using it include:
