Adhesive mortar for glass blocks VICOLITH ACRYLIC VETRO, 25kg/Bag

Properties:

The VICOLITH ACRYLIC VETRO is an adhesive mortar (glue) based on white cement reinforced with polymer additives. It offers very good workability, high adhesion to glass blocks, high mechanical strengths, and waterproofing.

Applications:

The VICOLITH ACRYLIC VETRO is used for building and pointing glass blocks.

Usage Instructions:

• The glass blocks must be clean from dust, oils, and generally anything that negatively affects the adhesion of the mortar.
• The VICOLITH ACRYLIC VETRO is added to water while stirring, until the mixture achieves the desired homogeneity and workability.
• The material is applied with a trowel like any masonry mortar.
• The pointing of the glass blocks is done with the same material.
• For shaping the joints, a very fine spatula and/or specially shaped metal rod is used.
• Before the material completely dries, clean the surface with a slightly damp sponge.

Consumption:

For building a wall surface of 1 m2, an amount of 12-15 kg/m2 of dry mortar is required, depending on the dimensions of the glass blocks and the thickness of the joints. That is, one 25 kg bag covers approximately an application of 2 m2 for standard glass blocks.
