Rocktape kinesiology tape is used for both athletic and non-athletic injuries. Its elastic fabric stretches up to 180% to allow a full range of motion, while the hypoallergenic adhesive helps keep the tape in place for 3–5 days.
It is made from cotton and nylon with acrylic adhesive, and contains no latex or zinc. The tape is water- and sweat-resistant and can be worn in the shower. Decompression of the skin helps relieve swelling.
