Neodymium magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet available commercially. They have replaced other types of magnets in many applications of modern products that require strong permanent magnets.

  • The N35 and N52 ratings measure the quality of the magnet material. The higher the rating (the number that follows 'N'), the stronger the magnet.
  • These ratings explain how much "magnetic energy" per volume the magnet material contains and what the maximum operating temperature of the magnet is.
  • Magnets starting with "N" should be used up to 80°C.

If you plan to use them in wargaming and miniatures, the following options are recommended:
