Very good, it says that it is not for swimming, but our son took a bath twice in a pool and not a drop of water got inside. It is elastic so it adjusts to the child's arm (in our case, the arm was very thin and it fit well). Just because it is tight, it somewhat restricts blood circulation, so it is not for wearing for hours.
