Purchased this year 2024 to be placed on a 360mm cooler and I can say that I am very satisfied with the performance and aesthetics of the fans.
The first impression they give you is that of a well-made product, meaning the construction is sturdy, the colors are clear and bright, you don’t hear rattling from loose materials, even the packaging is well thought out where each piece is wrapped separately with thin sheets of foam in between to prevent any damage.
Personally, I find it innovative to be able to connect fans without cables; not all companies have adopted this yet, but another innovation I noticed here is the detachable blades. They snap off with a little pressure and you can replace them with reverse flow blades included in the package. The cherry on top is that it includes a syringe with lubricant to add a little each time you change them.
These specific fans stick together magnetically. The magnets are quite strong, but that doesn’t mean that screws aren’t needed. Regardless of the fact that the package includes 3 cables, once you stick three fans together, you only need one. Each cable ends in a 4 pin, one male argb 5v and one female argb 5v.
Unfortunately, regarding the cables, they connect to the fans ONLY magnetically. That is, there is no point for them to secure together. The magnets are strong enough not to detach from the contact point, but not strong enough to prevent them from rotating around the contact point, and a few millimeters are enough to lose the connection. Personally, I needed two attempts to complete the installation without the cable moving despite the fact that my case opens completely from the top for easy access. I believe that in more hard-to-reach spots, there might be a problem. For this reason alone, I have deducted one star; it gave me a bit of trouble.
