The non-adhesive tape is made from a special material that is wrapped in a tape cartridge as a flat tube. After printing the relevant identification details, the tube opens and passes over a wire or a terminal connector. Once heated with a hot air gun, the tube shrinks to about half its original width, thus tightening the wire.
