The GX Eagle Transmission (T-Type) cassette is one of the main reasons why the Eagle Transmission offers the best shifting performance under load. Thanks to the X-SYNC design, the Eagle cassette for SRAM's 1×12 systems is more durable and provides greater precision than ever before. The optimized design features a revised Pindome architecture, which uses hardened steel for gears 1-8 and a mini-cluster for gears 9-12, with the first gear made from aluminum (52 teeth).

The GX Eagle Transmission cassette and the rear derailleur are designed as a single unit, being interdependent and perfectly matched, resulting in flawless operation on your bike. The step between the three largest gears has also been optimized in Eagle Transmission cassettes, with teeth sizes 52-44-38. Shifting performance has been improved thanks to the more uniform gear steps. A mark on the cassette helps with assembly and adjustment of the Eagle Transmission system.
