This is a luxurious album, the life work of the Minor Asian Helen Kavouni, where through rich photographic material, testimonies, and documents, the life of the refugees from Aegium, who arrived chased from the Prokonnesos or Proconnesus (Aphisia or Ophiusa, Koutali, Marmara or Prokonnesos, Aloni or Pasalimani, as well as from other regions such as Artaki, Adramyttium, Alatsata, Rhoda, Vourla, Smyrna, Ayvalik, Adana, Bursa, Nicomedia, Samsun, Trabzon, is presented and recorded.

However, most were from the four villages of the province of Prokonnesos: Pasalimani, Vori, Aloni, and Skoupia. They arrived by the ship "Plataia" on October 22, 1922.
