Description

Description

The Viper Venom DDR5 memory series will be our fastest available DRAM, starting at frequencies of 4800MHz for the latest Intel DDR5 platforms for incredible system performance! The Viper Venom DDR5 memory modules are designed with cutting-edge technology to set benchmarks even higher than most extreme overclocked DDR4 modules and deliver double the speed, doubling the current bandwidth of DDR4.

DDR5

DDR5 is the fifth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR4 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 3200MT/s to 12600MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL 28 to CL 48, while its capacity has increased up to 64GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with our motherboard specifications.

The Patriot Viper Venom provides a speed of 6400MT/s, with CL40 and 40 GB per memory module.

A very good RAM set, very fast and I have no problems. However, they were bought at the end of July 2025 for 100 euros, for the price now at the beginning of 2026, it's not worth it at all.

Absolutely satisfied, 1 and a half years in operation with XMP profile enabled and o.c. at 6,800mhz, with i7-14700k, b760m chipset mobo.
I see the prices now and I laugh, I had bought them at €260 for 64gb....

The best memories for AMD I have tried.
Amidst the chaos of today's prices, I found a kit at a reasonable price. They are completely different from the first version, they run at 6000cl 30 stock at 1.35 and 6400cl32 stock at 1.40 (this profile existed in the original version). Absolutely compatible with AM5. In terms of performance, simply excellent for Ryzen. Best setting is 6200cl 30-36-36 at 1.40 with FCLK 2067 for all Ryzen processors. If you set the 6400 profile and manual 6000 28-36-36, they work perfectly (for those who have 3D Ryzen). The only ones that drop to 58 latency with tight timings on AM5. Faster than Trident 6000cl30, Trident 6400cl32. I have tested them all

Very good memories. They worked flawlessly with AMD 7600x even though I had my doubts because the packaging only said INTEL XMP and not AMD EXPO, and in the BIOS there was only the xmp option, but as I said, they worked fine at 6400mHz.
