The 9060 is a new expression of refined style and design with a focus on innovation, which has made the 99X series host some of the most iconic models in New Balance history. The 9060 reinterprets familiar elements derived from the classic 99X models with a sensitivity inspired by the proud futuristic, visible technological aesthetic of the Y2K era.

The oscillation rods, derived from the 990, extend and are used throughout the upper for a sense of visible motion, while the wavy lines and proportions on a scaled-down midsole give excessive emphasis to the well-known ABZORB and SBS cushioning platforms.
