The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Flower of Life gong is traditionally handcrafted in China using a special brass alloy. This gong has a nearly flat shape, which provides sound with a wide tonal range and long sustain.
The lower tones are more dominant when played softly, while with stronger playing the gong opens beautifully and produces wave-like tones.
