I had a bad experience with this particular product. It did not make good contact with the Joefrex portafilter and did not fit well with the Dedica, resulting in water leaking around the portafilter almost every time I made coffee. When I changed the basket, everything was fine.

Without having used other baskets (apart from those that came with the machine I bought, which are pressurized) to compare, I can make the following observations:
1) The build quality is impeccable, there is amazing uniformity in the holes and with proper puck preparation, the extraction seems to be even without clogging anywhere.
2) The basket is slightly magnetic, so dosing funnels fit and sit well on top.
3) There is some concern on the internet about the diameter of this particular basket. This one narrows slightly towards the bottom from a certain point onwards, but with proper coffee dosing there is no problem tamping with 51mm tampers.
Used with an aftermarket portafilter with the Delonghi ECP 35.31.

I had a bad experience with this particular product. It did not make good contact with the Joefrex portafilter and did not fit well with the Dedica, resulting in water leaking around the portafilter almost every time I made coffee. When I changed the basket, everything was fine.

Without having used other baskets (apart from those that came with the machine I bought, which are pressurized) to compare, I can make the following observations:
1) The build quality is impeccable, there is amazing uniformity in the holes and with proper puck preparation, the extraction seems to be even without clogging anywhere.
2) The basket is slightly magnetic, so dosing funnels fit and sit well on top.
3) There is some concern on the internet about the diameter of this particular basket. This one narrows slightly towards the bottom from a certain point onwards, but with proper coffee dosing there is no problem tamping with 51mm tampers.
Used with an aftermarket portafilter with the Delonghi ECP 35.31.

2)Το καλαθάκι είναι ελαφρώς μαγνητικό, οπότε dosing funnels εφαρμόζουν και κάθονται καλά πάνω.
3) Υπάρχει μια ανησυχία στο διαδίκτυο για το συγκεκριμένο καλαθάκι ως προς την διάμετρο του. Το συγκεκριμένο στενεύει προς τα κάτω ως προς τη διάμετρο του ελαφρώς από ένα σημείο και μετά, αλλά με σωστή δοσόλογια καφέ δεν υπάρχει πρόβλημα ως προς το πάτημα με tampers των 51mm.
Χρησιμοποιείται με aftermarket portafilter με την Delonghi ECP 35.31.

Excellent fit with the Joe Frex Portafilter and the Delonghi Dedica. The quality of the extraction has improved significantly compared to both the Delonghi baskets and the one that comes with the Joe Frex. You definitely need to have a good grinder and experiment quite a bit at the beginning to find the right setting for the grind, but the difference is truly worth it.

The only thing I have to note is that it slightly obstructs the tamper. It seems that maybe it is a few millimeters thicker at the rim. However, it is not a significant issue. Perhaps with a different tamper, there would be no problem.
