In one month, I have had a problem a few times when I turn it on; at startup or even on the Windows desktop, it shows lines. It doesn't always do it, but for a new monitor, I don't think it will last long, and it's a shame because it wasn't cheap. From what I read, even on Amazon, people have these issues with this particular monitor. I don't know if we got a defective batch or if some component on the board is faulty, and sooner or later it will break down completely because now the lines sometimes stay, and it needs to be turned off and on again to go away. I will return it to see what LG will say. In any case, I find it unacceptable for such a monitor to have these problems. However, its image is flawless, as a monitor it is perfect, but unfortunately, it is not reliable.

UPD 1: So, I called LG's representative in Thessaloniki. They told me they have a service where, if you can't take the monitor yourself, they come and pick it up from your home and take it to the service center. I gave my details to LG in Athens, they came and picked it up, and the monitor was transferred to a local LG service center here in Thessaloniki again. After they had the monitor for tests for a week, they brought it back to me. The problem with the lines mainly happened at startup and when the monitor was cold, usually. A week there with tests, they told me the problem did not appear. After they brought it back and the technician tested it, the monitor showed the problem again, fortunately, so he saw it. They took the monitor back to the service as it was. In the end, I was left without a monitor for about 3 weeks, and they replaced the panel, as they thought that was causing the lines. Now we will see how it goes; they also gave me an extra 2 years warranty for the panel. I hope it goes well now. In any case, I have to say that LG's service is incredible, the guy who came was very polite, came twice with the monitor to set it up and connect it, they also changed my DP cable, and if anything happens, they told me to call them again.

UPD 2: Unfortunately, after the panel replacement that LG did and kept it for 3 weeks, the monitor was not fixed. It has problems with its black color turning gray in various videos; it was tested with both HDMI and DP, nothing changed. It was also tested with another graphics card, and the same problems persisted, exactly as before. The lines appeared again, and in short, LG will come again to take it for the third time. I don't know what else is left to change this time, the board or another monitor? In any case, the panel did not fix any of the problems it had. I am attaching new images of the lines it shows.

UPD 3: Again, a problem with the LG monitor, and what is happening is really unprecedented. The panel was replaced in July 2025, they had taken it again another time with the same lines, again the problem did not appear for them, and they brought it back to me. Now, on 26-1-2026, with the monitor's warranty slowly reaching 3 years with problems and about to expire, the same lines appeared again, with the only difference being some new ones that now stay on the screen when using HDMI. On DisplayPort, it did not show these lines, only the classic vertical green ones, which, even after the panel replacement, continued to appear occasionally. So, they came, took the monitor, checked it, and are waiting for a spare part. I asked what spare part, and they told me the panel. Listen, they will replace the panel again, even though it was replaced just 6 months ago in the summer, and they will replace the panel again since, even after the first panel replacement, the same problems remained, with the difference being the new lines on HDMI along with all the other issues it had. Another computer and another HDMI cable were tested, same issues again. The least that should be done is to give me a new monitor. I really don't know what to say, not so much about LG's quality—electronics can fail either at the beginning or in the middle of their warranty, that's why there is a warranty—but about the service they provide. I am attaching new images
