One of the worst MK of all time! That's why its price drops to the bottom in the PS store and it's also included in the extra. Instead of making something better than 11, which was a great game, they ruined it. Everything moves at a snail's pace during fights.

I have been following the series since the 90s. I am a die-hard fan and have always considered it the best fighting game. I give it 4 stars purely for the unreal graphics and gameplay. It's the first time I see such graphics in a fighting game. It deserved 5 stars and more, honestly. The story was the only thing I would say disappointed me. I understand that it's a reboot and trying to create something new, but come on. A bad mix of Marvel's Multiverse, with a bit of (for now) wokeness. Cyrax and Sektor became women. Quan Chi, in his let's say more human form, is black. The "macho" male characters without shirts, etc., have been reduced or do not exist, like Jax (or some of their outfits), as well as the more sensual/revealing outfits or behaviors of the women (Sonya, for example, is not present, Kitana, Mileena, etc., are fully dressed and more covered). It should be noted that the game's story makes no sense without the DLC story called Chaos Reigns. There, the Multiverse saga continues, with the main villain trying to create some gems that will essentially help him annihilate the universes. And yes, they look very much like Marvel's infinity stones, especially when he wears them. They made some attempts to keep the interest by showing some battles with character variations (some mixes like Shao Zero, Sub Scorpion, etc.), but they caused more laughter than interest. Also, many forms and many character costumes changed. Shao Kahn (General Shao, as he is now called) has horns, Goro now has the same height and build as Kitana, the 2nd Sub Zero is now Scorpion, and generally, it's a chaos that doesn't have much logic or helps the plot in any way. Also, the addition of Kameos cut many characters from the roster as they replaced them with extras, with no participation in the story or gameplay for many. Honestly, I would give it 3 stars for the somewhat bad story and its other aspects, but it deserves credit because objectively, as a fighting game, it had incredible gameplay and graphics. They saved it with that, fortunately. The world, as shown by the sales of the DLC, was disappointed with the lore. I hope in the next one, they continue the incredible effort in gameplay and graphics and somehow fix the story.

Εκεί συνεχίζεται η φασούλα του Multiverse, με τον βασικό κακό, να προσπαθεί να φτιάξει κάποια πετράδια, τα οποία στην ουσία θα τον βοηθήσουν να εξολοθρεύσει τα σύμπαντα. Και ναι, μοιάζουν παααααρα πολύ, με τις infinity stones της Marvel, ειδικά όταν τα φοράει πάνω του. Έκαναν κάποιες απόπειρες να κρατήσουν το ενδιαφέρον, δείχνοντας κάποιες μάχες με παραλλαγές χαρακτήρων (κάτι μείγματα τύπου Shao Zero, Sub Scorpion κτλ), αλλά περισσότερο γέλιο προκαλούσαν παρά ενδιαφέρον. Επίσης πολλές μορφές και πολλά κοστούμια χαρακτήρων, άλλαξαν. Ο Shao Kahn (General Shaο, όπως λέγεται πλέον) έχει κέρατα, ο Goro εχει πλέον ίδιο ύψος και όγκο με την Kitana, ο 2ος Sub Zero είναι πλέον ο Scorpion και γενικότερα ένα χάος που δεν έχει και ιδιαίτερη λογική ή βοηθάει κάπως στην πλοκή. Επίσης η προσθήκη των Kameos, έκοψε αρκετά άτομα απο το Roster μιας και τα έβαλε στη θέση των κομπάρσων, χωρίς καν συμμετοχή στην ιστορία ή στο gamelay, σε αρκετούς. Πραγματικά, θα του έβαζα 3 αστέρια για το ψιλοκακό story και τα υπόλοιπα του, αλλά ας όψεται που αντικειμενικά, σαν Fighting game είχε απίστευτο το gameplay του και τα γραφικά του. Το έσωσαν με αυτό, ευτυχώς. Ο κόσμος βέβαια όπως φάνηκε κι απο τις πωλήσεις του dlc, απογοητεύτηκε απο το lore. Ελπίζω στο επόμενο, να συνεχίσουν την απίστευτη προσπάθεια στο gameplay και τα γραφικά και να ξαναστρώσουν την ιστορία κάπως.

Ακολουθώ τη σειρά απο τη δεκαετία του 90. Είμαι καμμένος ΜΚακιας και το θεωρούσα ανέκαθεν το καλύτερο fighting game. Τα 4 αστέρια, τα βάζω καθαρά για τα εξωπραγματικά γραφικά και το gameplay. 1η φορα βλέπω τέτοια γραφικά σε fighting. Άξιζαν 5 αστέρια και πάνω, ειλικρινά. Η ιστορία ήταν το μόνο που θα έλεγα πως με χάλασε. Καταλαβαίνω πως είναι reboot και προσπαθεί να φτιάξει κάτι νεο, αλλά κάπου ωπα. Ενα κακό μείγμα Multiverse της Marvel, με λίγη (για την ώρα) wokίλα. Cyrax και Sektor έγιναν γυναίκες. Ο Quan Chi στην ας πούμε πιο ανθρώπινη μορφή του, είναι μαύρος. Οι "μάτσο" άντρες χαρακτήρες χωρίς μπλούζα κτλ μειώθηκαν ή δεν υπάρχουν, πχ Jax (ή οι στολές κάποιων) όπως και οι πιο αισθησιακές/αποκαλυπτικές στολές ή συμπεριφορές των γυναικών (Sonya πχ δεν υπάρχει, Kitana, Mileena κτλ ντυμένες φουλ και πιο κοφτές). Να σημειωθεί πως το story του game δεν έχει νόημα χωρίς το DLC story που λέγεται Chaos Reigns. Εκεί συνεχίζεται η φασούλα του Multiverse, με τον βασικό κακό, να προσπαθεί να φτιάξει κάποια πετράδια, τα οποία στην ουσία θα τον βοηθήσουν να εξολοθρεύσει τα σύμπαντα. Και ναι, μοιάζουν παααααρα πολύ, με τις infinity stones της Marvel, ειδικά όταν τα φοράει πάνω του. Έκαναν κάποιες απόπειρες να κρατήσουν το ενδιαφέρον, δείχνοντας κάποιες μάχες με παραλλαγές χαρακτήρων (κάτι μείγματα τύπου Shao Zero, Sub Scorpion κτλ), αλλά περισσότερο γέλιο προκαλούσαν παρά ενδιαφέρον. Επίσης πολλές μορφές και πολλά κοστούμια χαρακτήρων, άλλαξαν. Ο Shao Kahn (General Shaο, όπως λέγεται πλέον) έχει κέρατα, ο Goro εχει πλέον ίδιο ύψος και όγκο με την Kitana, ο 2ος Sub Zero είναι πλέον ο Scorpion και γενικότερα ένα χάος που δεν έχει και ιδιαίτερη λογική ή βοηθάει κάπως στην πλοκή. Επίσης η προσθήκη των Kameos, έκοψε αρκετά άτομα απο το Roster μιας και τα έβαλε στη θέση των κομπάρσων, χωρίς καν συμμετοχή στην ιστορία ή στο gamelay, σε αρκετούς. Πραγματικά, θα του έβαζα 3 αστέρια για το ψιλοκακό story και τα υπόλοιπα του, αλλά ας όψεται που αντικειμενικά, σαν Fighting game είχε απίστευτο το gameplay του και τα γραφικά του. Το έσωσαν με αυτό, ευτυχώς. Ο κόσμος βέβαια όπως φάνηκε κι απο τις πωλήσεις του dlc, απογοητεύτηκε απο το lore. Ελπίζω στο επόμενο, να συνεχίσουν την απίστευτη προσπάθεια στο gameplay και τα γραφικά και να ξαναστρώσουν την ιστορία κάπως.

I have been following the series since the 90s. I am a die-hard fan and have always considered it the best fighting game. I give it 4 stars purely for the unreal graphics and gameplay. It's the first time I see such graphics in a fighting game. It deserved 5 stars and more, honestly. The story was the only thing I would say disappointed me. I understand that it's a reboot and trying to create something new, but come on. A bad mix of Marvel's Multiverse, with a bit of (for now) wokeness. Cyrax and Sektor became women. Quan Chi, in his let's say more human form, is black. The "macho" male characters without shirts, etc., have been reduced or do not exist, like Jax (or some of their outfits), as well as the more sensual/revealing outfits or behaviors of the women (Sonya, for example, is not present, Kitana, Mileena, etc., are fully dressed and more covered). It should be noted that the game's story makes no sense without the DLC story called Chaos Reigns. There, the Multiverse saga continues, with the main villain trying to create some gems that will essentially help him annihilate the universes. And yes, they look very much like Marvel's infinity stones, especially when he wears them. They made some attempts to keep the interest by showing some battles with character variations (some mixes like Shao Zero, Sub Scorpion, etc.), but they caused more laughter than interest. Also, many forms and many character costumes changed. Shao Kahn (General Shao, as he is now called) has horns, Goro now has the same height and build as Kitana, the 2nd Sub Zero is now Scorpion, and generally, it's a chaos that doesn't have much logic or helps the plot in any way. Also, the addition of Kameos cut many characters from the roster as they replaced them with extras, with no participation in the story or gameplay for many. Honestly, I would give it 3 stars for the somewhat bad story and its other aspects, but it deserves credit because objectively, as a fighting game, it had incredible gameplay and graphics. They saved it with that, fortunately. The world, as shown by the sales of the DLC, was disappointed with the lore. I hope in the next one, they continue the incredible effort in gameplay and graphics and somehow fix the story.
