Despite a “best buy” review in a Dutch consumer magazine on thermometers, this Medisina Tm 750 thermometer is totally unreliable. Every single measurement is different: 38.5 then 36.7 then 37.2… I took my ear temperature 10 times, and it was different every single time. Unfortunately, it cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons, I presume. So disappointed with this worthless product.

There is a lot of inaccuracy in the measurements. You put it in your ear and it shows 36.9 and then after 2 minutes 37.3. Many times, one ear shows a different measurement than the other. Also, even when I put new batteries, it shows a low battery indication and beeps constantly. I do not recommend it at all, especially considering the price it has. There are much more reliable options available, and even cheaper.

I bought it 2.5 years ago, so I remember it works and we're talking about a great, great exclusion from mercury. It's better to buy a cheaper one so that I won't regret the money. Also, when you remove the plastic to measure the temperature, it doesn't easily go back in. You think that if you press it a little, it will break!

I have had it for 2.5 years since my child was born. I use this specific thermometer for measuring in the ear and it is very accurate. On the forehead, it shows random readings and it also drains the batteries, which are the only downsides. Other than that, it is very good, just children, read the instructions

I wanted a baby thermometer and I bought this one. It says here that it is suitable. Only the instructions inside say that it is not recommended.
I am not very satisfied with its use because it is not very reliable. But I take 3 or 4 measurements and considering my touch on the child's forehead, I calculate if the measurement is correct or not. It is convenient because the measurement is done very quickly. But I think it takes some experience to understand if the reading is accurate. Now that I know it, it is useful to me.

I bought it for professional use, I know it's not intended for that. I wanted to experiment because I wanted something easier to use than the classic electronic thermometer. Unfortunately, its accuracy is terrible, my hand is probably more accurate. So for anyone else who had the same idea as me, it's not worth it. Now, I can't give an opinion on using it indoors.

You need to get used to it and read the instructions carefully. You also need to have the critical ability and patience to take several measurements from different parts of the body to come to a safe conclusion about the accurate temperature (of the child who usually complains and does not cooperate). Ear measurements are better and more accurate

The worst thermometer I have ever used. It showed the same temperature for everyone. Even on my child with a temperature of 38+, it showed only tenths. Luckily, I only paid 22 euros for it.

Useless. No accuracy in measurements. The child can be burning with fever and this thing will be saying decimals. Money wasted.

(-) For measuring temperature on three different points of the forehead, I usually get three different results that have a deviation from each other and differ from the actual temperature. I returned to the classic mercury thermometer

I have had it for a week. I have never had an infrared before, so maybe I am not the most reliable for a review. Nevertheless, I have the following to say:

+Obviously, you don't expect tenth-of-a-degree accuracy, but it seems to give good results on the forehead with +- 0.2C, as long as you follow the instructions and take multiple measurements.
+It seems to be of good quality and the packaging had everything inside (including batteries).

-I don't know how the others work, but for the forehead, you have to swipe it from one end to the other (from temple to temple) and not just touch it momentarily. For babies (which is why I bought it), it might be a small issue if they are sleeping.
-At least for me, it gives random readings in the ear. Maybe I am not doing something right, I don't know, but depending on how I position it, it can even give me a fever reading
