The luxurious open cream-colored paper, 120 gsm, is excellent! It has no comparison to the company's 80 gsm paper (where the ink can be seen through the pages). It is ideal and comfortable for writing with a pen, bold lines, regular markers, etc., as nothing shows through from the back. It just takes a few extra seconds to dry. It even withstands watercolors with light water usage, which was the main reason for purchasing it. The material needs to be very wet and intense in order to not show through from the back.
Attention, it is a thick and heavy notebook, 203 pages, with a hardcover, and it only comes in one size (medium A5) and a few colors. It opens quite flat on a table, although I noticed some difficulty with the first few left pages, which usually don't open enough to avoid issues with pens and pencils. I can't say it's suitable for transportation.
It has two fabric bookmarks, two pages with lines where you can write contents at the beginning, page numbering at the bottom right, and a paper pocket for pieces of paper on the inside of the back cover. The pages have relatively rounded corners, and there is an elastic closure. The packaging also included some filing stickers.
It comes in blank, lined, or dotted, depending on your preference. The grid with dots that I got is amazing because the color is faint, which is convenient for writing (in both vertical and horizontal orientation, or even in columns) as well as for drawing/painting.
