Quite good, although it easily gets limescale but you can't avoid it. You often need to put vinegar, leave it with water, and rinse it. The little filter at the spout in the extras holds back anything that falls in or, for example, limescale. I would just like the lid to open fully so I can wash it more easily.

The lid makes it difficult as it traps a quantity of water when you want to empty it... it doesn't empty completely, that is. Other than that, it works excellently.

I have had it for a month. It is very beautiful and the light that turns on around it is very impressive.
It gets limescale like all kettles do, but with this one, because it is glass, it is visible. It's nothing, just a little vinegar once a month for a while and the limescale disappears.

It makes less noise than others, but I wouldn't call it silent.
Its speed seemed normal to me, it didn't seem fast.
On mine, the top lid doesn't open fully automatically. I press the button and it opens halfway and I have to lift the lid by hand to fill it with water.
Other than that, I am satisfied so far.

In less than 48 hours and after using it twice, the contact that starts it when placed on its base broke.
Without any logic, on the third day this fixed itself and then the contact at the bottom of the handle, which is supposed to stop it when the water has boiled, broke for good, making it dangerous.

Nice, elegant appearance and it heats up quickly. However, you can't drain all the water and as a result, water remains inside.

The Xiaomi Electric Glass Kettle 1.7 lt is a stylish and functional kettle with a large capacity and fast boiling at a very good price. It comfortably meets daily needs for hot water at home or office and is easy to use and clean. However, the build quality of some components (such as the switch) and its sensitivity to limescale may be points of concern if you use it very frequently for a long time.

very legit for its price, it hasn't had any issues, it doesn't accumulate limescale quickly and it's convenient that it's transparent so you can see the water level

As for build quality, it's ok. The only drawback for me is that the water inside does not drain completely due to the design of the product.

Good, fast, beautiful but with a short lifespan. The switch of the kettle melted after 1.5 years with use 1-2 times a day. Fortunately, we bought it through Skroutz and it was replaced, while the service told us it was out of warranty. Better get one of the white Xiaomi ones, they are tough.

I give one star because otherwise the review cannot be submitted. It doesn't even deserve one! It broke after 4 months with minimal use. Stay away!

I have no complaints, just informing that if it catches salts, it shows! So it needs cleaning often, which is not necessarily a bad thing..

Positives: Fast boiling of water, design
Negatives: When you empty the kettle, water residues remain that if you don't shake it with the lid open, they don't... Also, it easily accumulates limescale even with a water filter. The highlight? After 12 months, the on/off button just broke... It seems that it heats up from the temperature and the plastic melts and breaks...

Personally, if I had known this from the beginning, I wouldn't have chosen it. Look for something else.

Overall, it has a nice design, it boils water very quickly, but it has an issue with emptying, specifically the water does not fully drain, resulting in a few drops always remaining inside. I would like it to empty completely.

The only downside is that there is always a little water left in the kettle due to poor design

The kettle has 2 problems:
- internally it has a plastic collar above the glass that is thicker and makes it very difficult to empty all the water (you have to shake it back and forth with the lid open over the sink), resulting in a little water remaining inside.
- its thermostat takes too long to stop boiling (about 10 seconds), causing the kitchen to fill with steam.

I would prefer something else.

Very beautiful kettle from Xiaomi. As always, it does not disappoint. It boils water very quickly, does not accumulate significant scale, unless you are in an area where the water is particularly hard, and it is a very nice addition to the kitchen countertop. Very good quality/price ratio!

Two stars because it was cheap and as long as it lasted (1 month) it worked well.
Then the on/off switch broke, and as I saw in other reviews, it happened to others too.
It catches a lot of limescale even with filtered water, but they clean with vinegar.

I love it! A very stylish kettle, made from quality materials! I've been using it constantly for 2 months, everything is fine! It catches a little scale but it comes off easily with vinegar!!!
