After using it on an LG 27MK430H-B monitor for a little over a month, the screen started flickering and the power supply overheated, creating a bulge on its casing (see photo).

I connected it to an LG 28" TV in the kids' room, and it works without a problem.
A detail for anyone interested, the round DC output plug has an outer diameter of 6mm, 6.5mm is the "tip" of the plug (the yellow plastic at the very front),

  • I bought it for a decade-old monitor-TV and everything is fine, it works as it should. The quality will show in the future

It has more power, so it has the ability to provide more current and work more effortlessly than the old one which burned out spectacularly. Also, it has a sturdier construction and longer cables.

It is a bit more expensive than the original but it will be worth the money, it will last longer.

  • It doesn't work for all LGs obviously. In mine, it caused crazy flickering. Maybe too many Watts. I also went for Qoltec and it worked perfectly.

I tried 2 in case the 1st was defective, but neither worked with LG monitor. I eventually went for the Qoltec Universal Power Supply 19V 2.1A 39.9W

I bought it to fix an issue with my LG 22EA63 monitor where the picture would flash on briefly and then go black. The new power pack fixed the issue. The build quality is good.
