Well, I give it three stars because
1) the camera, which I naturally want to be good for taking photos, well, I was not satisfied at all with this camera. It takes worse photos, at least my old Xiaomi Note 10 Pro took better ones. It's from 2021.
2) The sound and music quality is great, I really like it
The mobile phone is very good for everyday use without any particular problems, so it is value for money. WARNING, if you want it for contactless payments with NFC, even though everywhere it says that it has at least what I bought, it doesn't have it. Someone in the comments wrote that it depends on where the import of this particular model has been made and they are probably right. I didn't buy it for that reason, so I kept it, but if you want it for that, don't risk it and choose something else. Everything else is okay.
For the money and the simple everyday use that we use it, it is the most value for money at the moment. Absolutely satisfied with the purchase.

I use it all day long. Mainly for email, Viber, and photos. It is quite fast in responding to the tasks I "assign" to it, the photos and videos are quite clear, and the music sounds great, although it unfortunately only has one speaker (which I knew). It has a larger screen than the others and it's AMOLED. Let's not lie, at such a price (€185 on sale) and with these specifications (8/256), I think it was the best choice I could make.
I come from a mobile phone with a similar processor from 2018 but with Android One. The mobile phone is very good for its price, but if it had Android One, it would be a star with the hardware it carries.

The mobile phone is full of bloatware that cannot be deleted, the "8gb" of memory is essentially permanently occupied by apps that run without your consent and magically reappear even after being deleted.
The weather app does not display the notifications it should. It rains the next day... zero notifications... it hails... nothing... it storms... still no notifications.
For the upgrade for the slot machine game or the fruit game or the cherry game, which are pre-installed, it will keep sending you notifications for as long as you live. Until you throw the phone out of the apartment to find peace, or run it over with a tractor... oh wait, it will still show notifications...
Useless information is everywhere and appears whether you want it or not, even on the lock screen. Even in file search, it displays advertisements! Enough already.
There are some exclamation mark notifications on the top left of the screen, just to exist and create anxiety for you... and if you manage to tap on them, nothing appears.

Hello everyone.... I am the owner of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4/128GB mobile phone for a month now..... At first, it was slow and laggy... I put it aside and bought a Samsung Galaxy A14.... awful in everything... so I bought the Xiaomi again, the phone is amazing, it has a completely clear screen for both photos and videos, super connectivity in everything, battery lasts for 2 days.... the mobile phone is perfect in every aspect and for its price!!!! I highly recommend it!!!
They stick on several applications, I have to restart it and I've only had it for a week. Better an older model than this one
I don't have much to say, it's not worth getting a phone today with less than 4GB of RAM, it will not only be slow but also struggle to open. I expected the Snapdragon to do a better job, but it turned out to be a disappointment. If someone is going to buy it, it's better to go for the 8GB version. The camera quality is average, which is understandable considering the price. The battery life is very good and the call quality is also good.
It is a decent and reliable product for its value. The sound on the speaker for music is relatively low, however, the communication during calls is excellent. I inserted a 128gb memory card and it froze after a while, but I removed it and everything was fine. The package includes a fast charger, a case, and screen protection!!! For the money, the purchase of €188 on 03/10/2023, the 8/256 version is very good in terms of capacity. The battery is superb, lasting 48+ hours initially until I installed everything. I tested it with a heavy game, Future Fight, and it didn't have any issues, with the battery lasting for 9 hours of continuous use. The camera is towards the cheaper version, but for users who expect DSLR-like quality from a phone under €200, you can install GCam. Generally, with users' ability to break their phones and the pace of technology, it's not worth getting a phone over €200.
The speakers are decent, with only one speaker and no Dolby Surround, but it gets the job done. Stop being experts. The CPU works flawlessly... the classic issue is the Xiaomi interface, but that was also adjusted. When the warranty expires, I will root it and install Lineage OS.

I had the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and I think it was slightly better than the 12, which only excels in call quality and photo quality. In terms of gaming and overall responsiveness, the 9 is better.
Very nice phone, very good image resolution, graphics, good video quality. I expected longer battery life. For this reason, I rate it with 4 stars.
I bought it with 8GB RAM/256GB storage in ice blue for 207 euros (because I'm not so stingy or ignorant to buy a phone with 4GB RAM in 2023 just to save 40 euros). The Note 6 is not worth it, it has almost the same price as the Note 8 and I see that it is no longer available.
In general, it is better in every aspect compared to its predecessor, the Note 11, even slightly in some areas. Better camera, just activate the AI mode for denoise (even better than the Note 12 5G due to a newer sensor), better display, slightly better chipset. The only strange thing is Xiaomi's choice of a single speaker, when the Note 11 had two.
Except for gaming, which is average (due to Adreno 610), it excels in everything else.
Especially the AMOLED display with 120Hz stands out, while it has all the features one needs (Infrared, NFC, IP53 water resistance, fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm jack, etc.).
Check out some guides online on how to disable the annoying notifications and ads of MIUI, remove some of the useless pre-loaded apps, and you'll be good to go.
Those who complain about the ads in the reviews don't know what they're talking about. They should do what I mentioned above first and then judge the phone. Otherwise, they shouldn't buy Xiaomi, that's the company's business model, and that's why it's cheaper than the competition. I no longer have any ads. AT-ALL, nowhere, none, nada, how do you say it? I believe it is perhaps the best choice in this budget. There is no phone with better specs for this price at the moment, and whoever doesn't realize this simple fact should reconsider in general.
P.S.1 The EU/Global version has NFC (mine, for example, has NFC normally). If your phone doesn't have it, it's good to check if it's an import or an official import by Quest. It will have a sticker on the box if it's an official import.
P.S.2 Those who are happy with "memory expansion" should know that it actually takes up a part of the storage memory, which is as slow as the SD card. It is not the same in performance as a Note 12 with 4GB RAM + 4GB expansion compared to a Note 12 with 8GB RAM (without expansion) when opening multiple apps. You will be satisfied if you have it for non-demanding use. It freezes quite a bit when you "push" it, owner of pocophone f1, and I had no problems until I changed it. Especially in Android auto, which I use daily, the whole system freezes and heats up. I fixed the old mobile, I will sell this one and I will make a more careful purchase next time.
I have purchased the 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. Everything is good, worth its money, and with a little program, you can delete some useless APKs in general on the phone and it becomes even faster. And if you want, the memory can be expanded to 8+8, super!!!

I have the phone in my hands for two months. Amoled screen with a refresh rate of 120hz, which means it doesn't strain the eyes after prolonged use. Watching movies, etc. in full HD, no problem here. It struggles quite a bit with games, I definitely don't recommend it if it's only for that purpose. The 33w charger can fully charge the battery in half an hour, it's included in the package along with the cable, saving you extra expenses. The appearance, as always with Xiaomi, is excellent. As for lag, it rarely happens, but sometimes when you have multiple open applications like Facebook Messenger, etc., it shows a black screen and returns after 2-3 seconds. The camera is decent for a 150 euro phone, personally I took some very clear photos on a trip with it. The battery lasts with full use for two days, but with difficulty. The only negative is the audio output, overall this aspect is mediocre to bad. Important: It also supports NFC. For a user who wants a little bit of everything without spending a fortune, with 150 euros you get a phone that you will enjoy to the fullest.

I have had the phone for 1 month and I have to say that it freezes a lot. I bought the phone for work and it freezes on basic functions such as GPS, calls, and Viber. You press a function and wait for hours for it to work or it just crashes completely. The GPS loses connection and doesn't know where you are. I am disappointed because my previous phones were Xiaomi and I was very satisfied. It is very likely that the problem is due to the fact that it only has 4GB of RAM.
On the positive side, it has a very nice screen and the battery lasts quite a while after a month, but only time will tell. Overall, I do not recommend it. It is better to buy the 11s or if you go for the 12, get the pro instead for the same price.
