The Zhiyun Crane 4 handheld stabilizer has three axes and supports cameras with a total payload of up to 6 kg. The shutter can be controlled wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 or using the controls and the 1.22″ color LCD touchscreen. The built-in LED light provides supplementary illumination of 3,200 lux and has an adjustable color temperature from 2,700 K to 5,500 K.

The dual-layer quick-release plates support both horizontal and vertical orientation, while the lower plate provides a mounting point for heavier lenses. The longer handle and more powerful motors expand compatibility with DSLR and mirrorless cameras, as well as compact cinema cameras using full-frame lenses. Motor indicators help you check the balance of each axis, and automatic calibration is performed when the system is fully balanced.

The ZY Play app for Android and iOS allows remote control, use of a virtual joystick and motion sensor, panoramic photography and timelapse capture, as well as firmware updates. The gimbal supports Pan Follow, Lock, POV, Follow, Go, Vortex and Portrait modes, as well as Panorama, Timelapse and Motionlapse. The four 18650-type batteries provide up to 12 hours of operation and charge via USB-C with PD fast charging.
