It is really good for what it is, i mainly use mine to record guitar and mic, but im giving it 4 stars because sometimes the audio cuts off and to restore it you have to change the sample rate, but that might just be an issue with my computer or windows because the issue isn't present on my macbook, apart from that it gets the job done if you just need something to record with, get a higher sample rate or have speakers in your setup. I'd reccomend an audient evo 4 for around the same price, if it weren't for the issue I have it'd be 5 stars.

The only negative is that several times the card may crash and need a restart when used for many hours.

I had the Gen1 for many years so I thought it was time for an upgrade. I won't mention the good things, everyone knows them.
What bothered me is that sometimes it freezes (and the Gen1 also used to freeze) either with a repetitive annoying noise or with a dramatic drop in sound quality, like listening to a radio with static. The latter, so far, I've noticed only happens when I increase the Sample Rate above the default 44.1kHz. It gets fixed if I unplug and replug the USB but if they don't fix it soon it will be a big mistake on their part.

I've had it for almost a year along with the AT2020, and it does its job excellently and simply. The construction is quality, and overall it is a reliable and strong choice for entry into more professional sound. It could be slightly cheaper.

It works flawlessly on Mac Mini m4. On Windows, it's also fine, although sometimes in specific applications (e.g., Valorant) a sound distortion starts that gets fixed when the device is disconnected and reconnected. Recently, this has stopped, so I assume the applications are mainly to blame since the device has no issues with known DAWs like Ableton. Also, for anyone interested, it has very low delay for MIDI audio processing.

UPDATE: The problem only appears in Valorant so far.

You can immediately read it especially from iOS devices, I highly recommend it for connection with iPad, MacBook, etc. The PC (Windows) recognized it immediately and I didn't need to download any driver. On the official website of Focusrite, there is an app that works perfectly and gives you the option for additional configuration of the interface.

I am very satisfied with the product; however, I struggled with its installation. It presented sound distortions at random, regular intervals (every half to one hour) and could only be fixed with a restart. After many attempts, I managed to resolve it by updating the motherboard's BIOS.

The sound quality is excellent on my headphones, and the recordings are very good.

Update: I installed its software, and it presented problems again intensely. The only solution is to use it with the drivers and nothing else.

It does not have an on/off button, so I, who have it connected to a powered USB hub, have to unplug the cable every time I want to turn it off.
