    It seems well constructed. I wanted the base to be heavy so it stands properly, and it is. It has a good range of adjustment and satisfactory light for reading. All three different blue/red light gradations are also satisfactory; there is a cool (blue), a normal light, and a warm (red). If you want a tall light that won't bother your eyes, I recommend it.
