The Elac PS500 from the Premium series delivers impressive acoustic performance, with deep bass that reaches down to 16Hz in-room. It features a large 15-inch treated-paper driver, a 500W RMS BASH amplifier (1000W peak), and supports automatic room acoustic correction via the Sub Control 3.0 app.

Custom 15-inch Guide

The subwoofer features a lightweight 15" cone made from specially treated paper, which increases rigidity and prevents changes in temperature or humidity from affecting its performance. It also has a large 2.0" voice coil for increased power handling, optimal thermal performance, and higher sound pressure levels (SPL) without distortion.

BASH Amplifier 1000W Peak

The BASH amplification technology combines the sound quality of Class AB with the efficiency of Class D. It delivers 500W RMS of continuous power and 1000W of peak power, ensuring maximum voltage swing and an enormous dynamic range across the entire frequency range from 16Hz to 150Hz.

Auto EQ & Sub Control 3.0 App

The device is controlled wirelessly via Bluetooth (BLE) using the Sub Control 3.0 app for iOS and Android. The built-in Auto EQ system compares near-field and far-field measurements, eliminating unwanted room acoustic effects for flexible placement in the room.
