The book Notre-Dame: A Short History of the Meaning of Cathedrals is a moving and brief non-fiction text that celebrates the impressive history of this beloved building, written by Ken Follett, author of the numerous Kingsbridge series.

After the Notre-Dame fire, Ken Follett was invited to a television show where the significance of cathedrals was discussed. His French publisher suggested he write a short book about Notre-Dame and its significance, with the proceeds from sales going to the restoration fund. Follett gladly accepted this proposal.

A minimal amount from each sale of the book will be allocated to the legacy and charitable restoration fund, La Fondation du Patrimoine.
