The active Axagon RVD-HI14C2 cable connects a computer with a DisplayPort output to a monitor, TV or projector with an HDMI input, carrying both video and audio. The connection works only from DisplayPort to HDMI, and the converter is built into the cable, so no installation or configuration is required.

It supports resolutions up to 4096 × 2160 at 30 Hz, as well as DDC for automatically adjusting the resolution and refresh rate to match the source. It also supports mirroring or extending the desktop, HPD, HDCP 1.4 and 2.2, and power-saving features. It is bus-powered, with no external power supply required.
