A printer server, two functions:

• Network connection: The wireless printer server adds 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac to Lexmark devices. It can also be configured as part of the network infrastructure.
• Installation and control: Simple installation: Just insert the wireless network card into the device's internal port. Other units require an external adapter card or connection of a wireless unit to the Lexmark device's USB port.
• Enhanced security: Support for wireless network encryption: protection against attacks and network eavesdropping with WEP encryption (64- and 128-bit key) and WPA2TM Personal and WPA2TM Enterprise protocols. The device owner controls who has access to it through a standard Wi-Fi network.
