The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind gong is traditionally handcrafted in China from a special brass alloy. It is also known as Feng or Sun Gong. Its shape is almost flat, allowing the vibration of the gong to spread widely with great duration. Its characteristic sound is primarily low, but when played more loudly, it beautifully opens up with higher tones.
