    I bought this one and the purple one and tried both. They are by far the worst litters I have tried in this price category. I was using everclean total cover and tried these as something more eco-friendly. In a clean litter box, after the first use, the whole house smelled. They do not absorb any odor, they only make a good clump.

    The worst litter I have ever bought. Yes, it does form a solid clump with urine, but it has nothing to contain the smell. With the cat's first use in a clean tray, the whole house stank. I do not recommend it to anyone, I threw away what was left within two days.

    The best I've ever tried for welding. I don't remember the last time I had to change the litter box. Every time I clean it, I just add a little sand and a bit of aromatic zeolite. Many times I mix it with a quality bentonite sand and the result is fantastic.

    Fantastic litter. I am a pet sitter & vet tech and have used every type of litter and litter box out there. This stuff is the best. It clumps harder than anything else I've used, doesn't stink like bentonite, is lighter and less terrible for the environment than bentonite, doesn't leave any muddy or hard crust on the litter box, clumps quickly, and is softer than bentonite. It isn't as soft as the World's Best Cat Litter, which is also a wonderful option. World's Best has much softer clumps and I would say has a better scent overall though once the cat uses any litter that doesn't much matter anyway.
    The 2 downsides: 1. This stuff ain't cheap. It will last longer than bentonite though bc it doesn't stink nearly as fast. 2. It scatters but then again show me a litter that doesn't...

I was looking for a new type of litter because my cat got an allergic reaction from the previous litter we used and lost fur on her legs. With this litter she is healing nicely. The only negative is that it tracks easily so I keep finding the grains all over the house.
