Berling surface varnish is a clear, satin-finish, two-component, water-based polyurethane varnish. It can be applied to wood, Deco Cire microcement, plaster, exposed concrete, and suitably prepared metal surfaces. Its water-based polyurethane resins provide adhesion and resistance to mild chemicals, mechanical stress, and weather conditions.
Apply with a brush or roller. Use the first coat as a primer, diluted with up to 10% water; dilute subsequent coats with up to 5% water. The mixed product must be used within 3.5 hours at 25 °C and achieves full chemical resistance after 7 days.
