The support base for the handheld aid is a clamp-type on a workbench or tabletop and features a soft rubber clamp to provide a tighter grip without slipping. It does not take up additional space on the table or workbench, fitting any surface up to 2.75 inches thick.

The clamps can rotate 360 degrees. The clips are wrapped in thermoplastic rubber and can hold objects without scratches or pinching, such as circuit boards, cables, motors, and more.
