Cosmopor E sterile waterproof dressing by Hartmann for minor wounds features a waterproof and microbe-resistant polyurethane film and a central wound pad. The wound contact layer consists of a mesh, hydrophobic polyethylene net, which does not stick to the wound and causes rapid drainage of exudate due to drainage effect. The breathable wound dressing has a hypoallergenic adhesive and is therefore particularly skin-friendly.
