Metallic Double Osteotheca in Ecru with Velvet, handmade construction, featuring electrostatic paint that does not fade and is corrosion-resistant. It is also known as a reliquary and is used for placing the bones of the deceased after exhumation.
The placement of the bones in the osteotheca is an important ecclesiastical ritual performed by the priest, who washes the bones with wine and water and chants the memorial prayer. The osteotheca can be placed in ossuaries or family graves.
This particular osteotheca has two slots for photographs and a cross on its front side. The metal sheet is 5 millimeters thick and very durable.
