Description

The world of networking is evolving. Even small offices are shifting from Gigabit connections to the lightning-fast world of 2.5 Gigabit connectivity. With the CRS310-8G+2S+IN, we aim to provide you with the tools to surpass your competition with a powerful combination of eight 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports in a compact, robust package! Additionally, these SFP+ ports support multiple data rates: 1G, 2.5G, and 10G. So, you can use this switch as a 10x 2.5G switch if needed. Classic MikroTik flexibility!

The amazing Marvell 98DX226S switching chip and the built-in dual-core ARM CPU can fully handle the capabilities of RouterOS v7. Run VLAN, Jumbo frames, link aggregation, ACL rules, and much more! You can even perform some Layer-3 routing without hardware offload.

There are many mounting options. You can easily install the CRS310-8G+2S+IN in a standard 19" rack using the included rackmount ears. Another option is to get the RMK-2/10 accessory kit, which allows you to mount two CRS310 units in the same 1U 19" rack space or mount it in a 10" rack. The choice is yours!

If I were buying from the start, I would probably go for a Unifi. It is quite noisy (there is no way you won't hear it) and its temperatures are a bit high. I use all the ports and on both SFP+ I have SFP to RJ45 10G. These alone operate at 55+ Celsius (the switch is not to blame for this)
