Orange Gum Arabic in Scales

Natural organic resin, Orange Gum Arabic in scales. Gum Arabic is a natural resin used as a base for gold leaf during gilding, as well as in the final varnish of the artwork to stabilize the colors.

  • Orange color Gum Arabic (Darker than Yellow Gum Arabic)
  • Contains wax
  • Dilutes in a solution of at least 95% ethanol
  • Recommended mixing ratio: 250 grams of gum Arabic per 1 liter of ethanol
  • After 24 hours, the solution will be fully absorbed
  • Filtering the solution before use is recommended
  • The gum Arabic solution can be stored for months in a closed container. Filtering before each use is recommended
  • Store the gum Arabic in a dry, cool place inside its container, away from sunlight or heat
