Provides all the advantages of the Pro-Mist filter in a more subtle form. Better control of flares. Contrast is reduced, but with less lighting of the shadows for a more refined result. Creates a soft "pastel" effect and a subtle effect with limited highlight bloom.

These characteristics become more pronounced when using densities of 1/4 and above. At higher densities, the leak is quite aggressive from practical light, with the warm tone becoming more pronounced. The Pro Mist filter remains a staple filter for many cinematographers in the digital world.
